The clubs meet weekly for about 1 hour. The clubs have a Bible lesson, memory verse, missionary story, songs, games, snacks, etc. Many of the Good News Clubs occur after school right there on the school campus. Supreme court ruled that Good News Club can meet on campus in the same manner as any other non-curriculum activity or club. Camp Good News is CEF's major summertime ministry. For four weeks
out of each summer we hold overnight camps for children aged 7-13. This is an overnight camp with the children being dropped off Monday mornings and picked up on Friday evenings. At camp we have two goals for each camper: 1) To learn about God, and 2) Have fun! Campers will spend each day rotating through three morning periods and three afternoon periods. In the morning they will have a Bible class, missions class, and crafts. The afternoon they'll rotate through games on the field, swimming in the pool, and hiking through the creek. They'll start and end each day with their counselor's reading God's word, hearing stories from the Bible and applying it to their life. All food is included in the camp fee (breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks), the children do not need to bring money with them. California Mid-State Fair - Held each year, starting mid to late July and, running for 12 days in Paso Robles, CA. All CEF® volunteers and staff are required to pass a background check to help ensure the safety of your child.
