We’ve been back home for a week now after our 2nd trip to the Asheville area. We spent most of our time in Black Mountain and Swannanoa working with Samaritans Purse. The amount of volunteers showing up to help still astounds me; families, retired folks, married couples, and college groups all taking time away to come and be the hands and feet of Jesus. 🤲🏻 👣

I wanted to share a few photos that stood out to me on this last trip. The Church and the American flag. Both are in my prayers and on my heart. Beleiving that Gods church-the people, the body of Jesus following lovers of Truth are rising up and will not be shaken! There is a resilience and renewed strength to stand for the Truth of Gods Word! And the American flag, a representation of our freedom and liberty. Both. Not separated, but united under God🙏🏻

Packing, and preparing our hearts to head out to Asheville again tomorrow/Tuesday for 5 days to help those affected by the storms. I’ve been reflecting on this passage and this mandate in the natural and spiritual. Pray with us that lives will be changed, hearts healed, and generations impacted for Gods Kingdom. Hope is rising.
