M is for Missions M is for Missions is a way for anyone to financially support a Bible-believing world missionary. Don’t live near a good church? Come and join us!

Does health prevent you from attending? Now you have an easy way to help get Jesus’ gospel around the world! M is for Missions is a way for anyone to support an American Bible-believing missionary and send them to the foreign field. The use of technology allows a giver to select a missionary and send financial support directly from their smartphone. It also allows missionaries to apply for support from their smartphone or tablet/computer as well. Churches can extend their gospel outreach throughout the world by supporting the M is for Missions Program Office. The world needs more gospel preaching missionaries to carry the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world. M is for Missions has that in mind with their goal of sending 1000 missionaries to the field.

🌎 MISSIONARY SPOTLIGHT | THE KUNCHALA FAMILY 🇮🇳

Born and raised in India, John Kunchala grew up in a nominal Christian home. His father was an atheist, while his mother, who had attended a British missionary school, had a fear of the Lord and made church attendance a priority. Although John attended church regularly, he never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. He believed that because he lived a good, obedient life, he was not a sinner.

In 1990, John married his wife, Luvalla, who was Catholic at the time. After the birth of their son, Varun, the family moved to Chennai in 1994. While working at Madras Refineries, a Christian coworker invited him to a prayer meeting led by Evangelist Isaac Lemur. Through clear Biblical preaching, John came to understand that all are sinners in need of a Savior. In February 1996, he trusted Jesus Christ for salvation and was later Scripturally baptized.

In 1997, the family moved to the United States, where John spent 28 years working in Information Technology, including 19 years at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. Since 2008, they have faithfully attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Missouri City, Texas, where they remain actively involved in ministry and outreach.

🙏 In 2025, the Holy Spirit burdened John's heart to return to his homeland and share the Gospel with his fellow countrymen. He surrendered to that calling, and in January 2026, he and Luvalla spent six weeks in India on a missions survey trip, working alongside veteran missionaries in three states.

🇮🇳 Their Mission: The Lord is currently leading them toward Andhra Pradesh, where they hope to reach the Telugu-speaking people with the Gospel. As a native of India who speaks Telugu fluently, John has a unique opportunity to minister without the language and visa barriers often faced by foreign missionaries.

The Kunchalas plan to begin serving alongside two veteran American missionaries in Mangalore before establishing their own ministry in Andhra Pradesh as the Lord leads.

They began deputation in June 2026 and have reached 23% of their monthly support, with a goal of arriving on the field by June 2027.

🔹 Pray that God would be glorified through their deputation and burden more Christians to go, give, and pray.
🔹 Pray that God would raise up native Indian believers to preach the Gospel in India's many languages.
🔹 Pray for God's guidance as John seeks to reach the 70 million Telugu-speaking people with the Gospel and sound Bible doctrine.
🔹 Pray for the financial support needed to reach the mission field by June 2027.

🌍 THE HOOPER FAMILY — SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦

Meet the Hooper Family — Blaine, Holly, Raya, and Lincoln, church-planting missionaries called by God to take the Gospel to South Africa.

After the Lord began working in both Blaine and Holly’s hearts about missions, Blaine stepped away from his career with the City of Atlanta Fire Department, and their family began preparing for the work God had called them to do. They are sent out of Whitfield Baptist Church in Dalton, Georgia, in partnership with Vision Baptist Missions.

South Africa is home to more than 62 million people, representing many cultures, people groups, and 12 national languages. The Hoopers have a burden to reach people who have never clearly heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Their vision is simple but far-reaching: witness to the lost, disciple believers, plant local churches, and train national men to lead and pastor those churches. Their prayer is to see strong national churches established that will not only reach their own communities but eventually send the Gospel around the world.

🌍 Missionary Spotlight: Luke & Vivienne Magner 🇮🇹

God often begins preparing His servants long before they realize where He is leading them.

Luke Magner was raised in a faithful Christian home in Pennsylvania and trusted Christ as his Savior at the age of seven. During a teen rally when he was fifteen, he surrendered his life to whatever God wanted. That night, the Holy Spirit placed Italy on his heart. Through the years, the Lord faithfully confirmed that calling, and after earning his bachelor's degree in Missions from New England Baptist College in 2024, Luke continues preparing to take the Gospel to the people of Italy.

Vivienne grew up in western Massachusetts as a pastor's daughter. She accepted Christ as her Savior when she was four years old. Having witnessed the challenges of ministry firsthand, she never imagined becoming a pastor's or missionary's wife. Yet God had different plans. Through His Word and the influence of Luke, the Lord used Isaiah 6:8 to soften her heart and lead her to fully surrender to His perfect will for missions.

Together, Luke and Vivienne have a burden to see a Bible-preaching Baptist church established in every one of Italy's 107 provinces. Today, there are only about ten independent Baptist churches reaching Italians in their own language. Their desire is to reach people through consistent Gospel outreach, personal discipleship, and planting churches where there is little Gospel witness.

Even while on deputation, God continues to open doors. This past May they were able to visit Canada for the first time, sharing their burden for Italy with churches there and gaining a greater appreciation for how God works through different cultures around the world.

• A full schedule of meetings to share their burden for Italy.
• The Cook family in Reggio Emilia, Italy, with whom they will serve when they first arrive.

• Most importantly, that many Italians would come to know Christ as their Savior.

There have been many good preaching sessions including Dr. Mike Wells, Pastor at Parkside Baptist in Mesquite!

🌎 M is for Missions – Meet the Horton Family 🇭🇳

Jeremiah Horton trusted Christ as his Savior at the age of nine while attending Faith Baptist Camp. After his parents answered God's call to Honduras, he spent his teenage years there learning the language, embracing the culture, and building relationships with the Honduran people.

After marrying his wife, Kelsey, in 2014, Jeremiah devoted himself to building a successful career. Though he remained faithful to church, he admits his heart had drifted from the Lord. In 2023, God began working in his life, reminding him that earthly success could never compare to investing in eternity. Together, Jeremiah and Kelsey surrendered their family's future to the Lord, willing to serve wherever He would lead.

In 2024, Jeremiah left his six-figure government job and began serving on mission trips whenever the opportunity arose. One of those trips took him to Santa Bárbara, Honduras, where he served alongside veteran missionary Bro. Don Hilbun. Seeing the great need for laborers—and after much prayer—the Lord confirmed His calling, not only in Jeremiah's heart but in Kelsey's as well. When the Horton family returned together later that year, God made it clear that He was leading them to serve as directors of the Children's Home.

The Horton family—Jeremiah, Kelsey, Tucker, Hudson, and Amelia—are preparing to serve in Honduras, where they will direct the Children's Home while assisting in the local church, helping plant churches in surrounding villages, and working to establish a Christian school and Bible Institute.

Please pray with us for the Horton family:
🙏 Safety as they continue traveling on deputation.
🙏 That they will complete deputation and be fully supported by the end of 2026.
🙏 Wisdom and God's provision as they seek a vehicle, a rental home, and eventually land to expand the Children's Home ministry.
🙏 That many souls would be saved, believers would grow in the Lord, and churches would be strengthened throughout Honduras.

🇳🇱 Missionary Spotlight: The Campbell Family 🇳🇱

Every missionary has a story, and the Campbell family’s story is one of faithfully following God’s leading—even when it meant leaving a ministry they loved.

Bro. Campbell trusted Christ as his Savior at the age of seven. Years later, during a youth ski trip, God called him to preach the Gospel. Since then, he and his wife, Sommer, have faithfully served the Lord while raising their two daughters, Ava and Ella.

The Lord continued to direct the Campbell family's path, eventually leading Bro. Campbell to pastor Landmark Baptist Church in Cleburne, Texas, in March 2020. What began during the height of COVID with about 20 people became a beautiful testimony of God's blessing. Over the next five and a half years, the Lord brought nearly 500 first-time visitors. Souls were saved, believers were baptized, men were trained to preach, a church was built in Africa, and 20 new missionaries were added for monthly support. The congregation grew to around 100 faithful believers in a 91-seat auditorium.

God was blessing in remarkable ways. Humanly speaking, they had every reason to stay.

Yet in the middle of that exciting season of ministry, God began working in their hearts about missions. Although they had no reason to leave, God was giving them a reason to go.

He burdened them for the people of the Netherlands—a nation of more than 18 million people with only two independent Baptist churches of like faith. Today, the Campbell family is preparing to plant a Bible-preaching church in the Rotterdam area.

The Lord has already been blessing their deputation. During the first few months of 2026, the Campbell family traveled through 10 states, gained 15 new supporting churches, and reached over 33% of their support goal. Along the way, God has opened doors to encourage churches, share the Gospel, distribute Bibles, and be a blessing to many people they meet.

🙏 Please pray for the Campbell family as they ask God for:

• Safety as they travel on deputation.
• Funds for their October trip to the Netherlands (approximately $8,000).
• The Lord to provide a home for their family before their planned move to the Netherlands in Spring 2027.
• More churches and individuals to partner with them through monthly support.
