Before church each Sunday before the preaching starts we sing songs of praise, catch up with one another and at times take that moment to lift our sisters and brothers in Christ up. Sometimes the preaching and teaching begins before service starts. This Sunday someone made a statement that stuck with us all….”Thank Man and see what you get!” Hmmmm 🤔that’s something to think about.

You can look at this simple statement from several different angles

“Thank God, not man—because man’s reward is limited.”

“Thank man and receive applause. Thank God and receive blessing.”

“Thank man and see what you get; thank God and see what He does.”

“Thank man and see the limit; thank God and see the overflow.”

“What man gives is temporary; what God gives is eternal.”

We lift our hands 🙌 to God from where our blessings flow and we thank Him for all he has done in our lives. Man is limited and will disappoint. Put your trust in God, only he can lift you up when you are down and his rewards are limitless.
