COME JOIN US SUNDAY MORNINGS AT GRACE BIBLE CHURCH!
A place to grow in grace, be established in truth, and learn God’s Word rightly divided.
At Grace Bible Church, our desire is not to entertain, follow religious tradition, or simply tell people what they want to hear. Our desire is to preach Christ, teach the Word of God faithfully, and see believers established in sound doctrine.
2 Timothy 4:2 (KJB)
“Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.”
When you join us, you can expect:
• THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD CLEARLY PROCLAIMED
Salvation by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ—His death for our sins, His burial, and His resurrection. We believe the most important message anyone can hear is the gospel that saves.
1 Corinthians 15:1–4 (KJB)
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
Ephesians 2:8–9 (KJB)
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
• THE KING JAMES BIBLE TAUGHT AND BELIEVED
The Bible is not merely referenced—it is opened, read, studied, taught, and trusted as our final authority. We believe God has given us His Word so that our faith rests upon what He has said rather than the wisdom, traditions, or opinions of men.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 (KJB)
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
Romans 10:17 (KJB)
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
• THE WORD OF TRUTH RIGHTLY DIVIDED
We recognize the distinctions God has placed within His Word so that we can understand His purpose and program, what He is doing today, and His instructions for the Body of Christ. All Scripture is for us, but we must rightly divide it to understand what is written to us.
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJB)
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
Ephesians 3:8–9 (KJB)
“Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”
• SOUND DOCTRINE GROUNDED IN TRUTH
We desire teaching that establishes believers in what they believe, why they believe it, and where it is found in the Word of God. Sound doctrine is not merely information—it establishes, strengthens, and equips the believer.
Titus 2:1 (KJB)
“But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:”
Romans 16:25–26 (KJB)
“Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:”
• THE EDIFICATION OF THE SAINTS
Church is not merely a place to attend—it is where believers are equipped and edified. Our desire is to help believers grow in grace, mature in their understanding, become established in the faith, and be equipped for the work of the ministry.
Ephesians 4:11–14 (KJB)
“And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;”
Colossians 2:6–7 (KJB)
“As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”
• SCRIPTURE FOR DOCTRINE, REPROOF, CORRECTION, AND INSTRUCTION
We do not come to the Bible merely looking for encouragement or inspiration. We allow God’s Word to teach us what is right, expose what is wrong, correct our thinking, and instruct us in how we should walk.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 (KJB)
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”
1 Thessalonians 2:13 (KJB)
“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”
• CHRIST-CENTERED FELLOWSHIP
The local church is believers gathering around the truth of God’s Word to encourage, strengthen, edify, and serve one another. Our fellowship is not built merely around activities or common interests—it is centered upon our common life and identity in Christ.
1 Corinthians 12:25–27 (KJB)
“That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another.
And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.”
Ephesians 4:15–16 (KJB)
“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.”
• A PURPOSE BEYOND SUNDAY MORNING
What we learn from God’s Word should affect how we live every day. We desire to equip believers to understand their identity in Christ, walk worthy of their calling, share the gospel with others, and faithfully represent the Lord Jesus Christ as His ambassadors.
Ephesians 4:1–3 (KJB)
“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”
2 Corinthians 5:19–21 (KJB)
“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”
WHY DOES THIS MATTER?
Because the local church should be more than a place where people come and sit. It should be a place where sinners hear the gospel, saints are established in truth, believers grow in sound doctrine, the Body of Christ is edified, and God’s Word is faithfully taught and rightly divided.
1 Timothy 3:15 (KJB)
“But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.”
Colossians 1:28 (KJB)
“Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:”
