📚🙏 A New School Year Begins with Prayer

As a new school year begins, we want to cover every student, teacher, administrator, school staff member, and family in prayer.
We pray for God's protection, wisdom, strength, and peace throughout the year. May classrooms be filled with kindness, friendships be rooted in love, and every challenge become an opportunity to grow in faith.

No matter what this school year holds, we know God goes before us. We're praying for an incredible year and trusting Him every step of the way.

"The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you." – Deuteronomy 31:8

VBS Day 5 Recap (volunteer edition)

What an incredible week it has been!
As we wrapped up VBS today, our hearts are full of gratitude for all that God has done throughout this week. From the excitement of the first day to the memories made today, we've seen God's hand at work every step of the way.

While the kids are often the center of attention during VBS, today we want to take a moment to recognize the amazing volunteers who made this week possible. Whether they taught lessons, led games, prepared snacks, helped with crafts, ran sound and media, decorated classrooms, registered families, or simply offered a smile and a helping hand, each volunteer played an important role in sharing the love of Christ.

VBS is much more than a week of fun activities. It's an opportunity to invest in the next generation, and we're thankful for every person who gave their time, energy, and talents to make that happen.

Most importantly, we're grateful for the lives that were impacted by the Gospel this week. We praise God for the seeds that were planted and trust Him to continue working in the hearts of these children long after VBS has ended.

To every volunteer, parent, and church member who prayed, served, donated, and supported this ministry—thank you. Your faithfulness helped make this week a success, and we couldn't have done it without you.

Thank you for an unforgettable week at Illumination Station!

VBS Day 4 Recap

What a special day we've had at VBS! As our week at Illumination Station begins to wind down, we're thankful for every moment we've shared together. From the laughter during games to the excitement of the day's activities, Day 4 was filled with joy and unforgettable memories.

One thing that has stood out all week is seeing kids excited to learn about Jesus. It's been a blessing to watch them ask questions, participate in lessons, and grow in their understanding of God's love.

Today's Bible lesson focused on Jesus as the promised Son of God. We talked about the death of Jesus and why He had to die on the cross—it was for our sins. But the story doesn't end there—He lives! Because Jesus lives and defeated death, we can have a personal relationship with Him.

As we look ahead to our final day, we're praising God for all He has done this week and for the seeds that have been planted in the hearts of these children. Please continue to pray that God's Word will take root and make a lasting impact in their lives.

Thank you to every volunteer, parent, and church member who has helped make this week possible. Your investment in the next generation matters more than you know.

We're looking forward to finishing VBS strong tomorrow!
