After 38+ years of pastoral ministry within a church setting, God has transitioned us out of pastoral ministry to start BEST Life Ministry. Our desire is to help Christian leaders and Christ-followers be energetically and strategically transformed. In a sense, we are missionaries called to positively influence pastors and impact churches in the United States. We have specially designed three ministry venues to address three pressing needs in the Church today: leadership health and growth, disciple-making effectiveness, and the effectual ministry of the Holy Spirit.
BEST Life Plan Day – The BEST Life Plan process is a 6-hour, Holy Spirit-led, and facilitator-guided small group event. This has been especially developed to help Christian leaders design the best plan for their health and growth in four major life account categories - personal, relational, vocational, and avocational. During this process the participant discovers their unique God-given purpose, envisions their future, identifies priorities, and formulates future next steps. The leader will receive direction, affirmation, maximization, and re-energization from the life plan he or she makes in conjunction with the Holy Spirit. Besides facilitating this one-day event, Steve is available as a coach, if desired, to help Christian leaders reach their envisioned future.
BEST Life Discipleship Seminar - This 3-hour seminar/workshop will challenge Christ-followers to take personal responsibility for their own spiritual growth. Participants will design a Holy Spirit-inspired, one-year plan to help them become God’s best version of themselves. The teaching and plan-designing will inspire every believer take a step forward in becoming more passionate about Jesus, healthier in their relationships, Spirit-led in their lifestyle choices, selfless in their serving, committed to and effective in sharing Jesus, and generous in their giving. The plan elements will include raising the importance of church ministries and ongoing, intentional relationships. This seminar will also give the pastor a good snapshot of where church is in the spiritual, relational, influential, ministerial, missional, and material dimensions.
BEST Life Encounter Worship Service - This unique worship service incorporates a balance of worship in song (led by Jeanne) and teaching of the Word of God (by me), along with extended communion and prayer ministry times, to give the Holy Spirit opportunity to do His healing, delivering, and empowering work. It is based on the biblical pattern of worship as illustrated in the Tabernacle. Too many people think they are in the Holy of holies when they are still in the Outer Court because of not being honest about or repentant of the sin in their lives. In the services we have done to date, we have seen some powerful, supernatural breakthroughs.
