Our guest preacher, Pastor Rob Kasper, reminded us this Sunday of the two ways we can avoid being a “stumbling block” to what God has and wants to accomplish through the ministry of His Son:

1. Don’t avoid, but EMBRACE the cross of Jesus Christ.

Join us one week from today for Bites and Beats on Third Street!

One last slice of summer! We’re hosting the Hearth, Wood & Fire Pizza truck and will be treated to live music as we picnic on the church lawn. A quaint evening of community, and a great event to invite neighbors and friends to.

Oh, and did we mention — the first 100 orders are on us!

On Sunday, we said goodbye to our incredible church plant pastor, Chris Troxel and his family🤍 We are so thankful for Pastor Chris’s heart for ministry and his leadership throughout the planting of Emmaus.

For those who didn’t know, Pastor Chris has accepted a call at Trinity Lutheran in Clinton Township, and will be starting to serve there this fall.

Please continue to pray for the Troxel family and our church, as we both enter a time of transition. Our trust is in the Lord, that he will provide everything we need!

We know the struggle of parking downtown at any time, but especially on a Sunday in Ann Arbor!

But we’ve done our best to make it easy with parking in our church lot, across the street in St. Paul’s Youth House parking lot. You can also park anywhere on the side streets - parking is free on Sundays!

The story of Emmaus serves as the inspiration behind our logo and brand. As the story goes, two disciples of Jesus were travelling from Jerusalem to Emmaus and along the way, Jesus appears to them. We want to be a church where people are not only seen, heard and loved, but also where Christ walks with us.
