Ministry seeks to equip women with the tools they need to glorify God in their roles as wives, mothers, sisters, co-laborers, friends, etc. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities for women to grow in God’s Word, to relax, fellowship and be encouraged. We like to have fun and enjoy building relationships as we to grow in our walk with the Lord Jesus. For more information, email Women@Pope

5. Pray for Your Neighbors by Name
At the end of the day, loving our neighbor is about reflecting the light we’ve been given. We aren't trying to "fix" people or check off a religious box. We are simply responding to the incredible love Jesus has shown us. He was intentional with us; He sought us out, learned our names, and served us in the most humble way possible.

Being a good neighbor is a journey, not a destination. Some days you’ll be the "star neighbor" who bakes cookies, and other days you’ll just be the one who offers a tired smile and a wave. Both are okay! The goal isn't perfection; it’s presence.

So, who is one person in your community you can be intentional with today? Maybe it’s the person you see every morning at the bus stop, or the neighbor you haven't spoken to in months. Take a deep breath, say a quick prayer, and just be kind. You never know how a small act of intentionality might be the very thing someone needs to feel the love of Christ.

Let's make our neighborhoods places of light, one small conversation at a time. If you need a place to track your prayers for your neighbors or write down the ways you’ve seen God moving in your community, don’t forget to check out our digital journals. They are designed to help you stay intentional in your walk with Him!

As this weekend turns into a juxtaposition between God’s creation of motherhood and a satanic ploy to undermine God’s created order. Remember this:

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” Ephesians 6:12

Let us keep our hearts settled in the Word. Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world.

Eyes on Jesus!

And Happy, Happy Mother’s Day!

Think on these things…

Tomorrow is a special day! Pray for Jon, Michelle, Evelyn-Ann, and Bennett as well as for us as a church that we would faithfully walk out the covenant we will make.

3 John 1: 4 “ I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth”.

How we love our precious Bennett!

Parent/Baby dedication isn’t something we take lightly. It’s a mutual covenant we make with the Ulsaker family to come along side them; to love and to train Bennett in the way of righteousness.

We’d love for you to be there for this special occasion.

Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

No longer slaves to sin; Christ in me gives every measure of grace to walk in victory!

As we’re nearing the end of April, this is a wonderful challenge to spend a few minutes a day journaling and meditating on contentment.

Everywhere we look we’re told to have more, be more, and do more.

Gratitude and contentment go hand in hand. They produce the ability to: “give thanks in all things”. Not because all things are good but in all things God is at work.

May's Scripture Writing Guide will turn our hearts towards contentment. In a world that constantly tells us we need more, God gently reminds us that what we have in Him is enough. He is faithful to provide, and when we rest in that truth, our hearts begin to fill with gratitude instead of striving.

Blessings To All,
Sherry ♥️

Learn to “Walk out your faith” in Christ as founder of One in Christ (OIC - think on that for a bit) is with us in May teaching through the word of God.

It’s a unique experience to hear Pastor Steve teach. Each time he’s been with us, after years of Bible study, there are still those, “Oh, I see “ moments as God reveals His ways and His purposes.
