HARAAM LIFE HACK OF 'MUSLIM' FEMINISTS
N.B. Read the footnotes *carefully* before accusing me of being a Tate acolyte¹ & stop 🛑 yourself from morphing into a misandrist fan of Lindsay Clancy 😆.
In Islam a husband has THE right to oversee who his wife socializes with, when she leaves the home² & IF in fact she works. And yes, this is enshrined in our fiqh³ corpus. In our deen this type of protective behaviour is commendable, irregardless of the gyno-centric courts ruling this as 'coercive control'⁴.
That being said, in 2026, we have a plethora of married Muslim women who:
- work full-time⁵ yet have the husband pay the *entirety* of the children's daycare⁶, then
- spend their entire salary on themselves or their overseas family⁷, yet simultaneously hold the view that ...
- during divorce they're entitled to the lion's share of the 'common' assets (that they didn't financially contribute to)⁸.
This needs correction.
It MUST be combatted on the pulpits, at the dinner table & in our circles of learning.
Cancer must be excised, not left in situ.
__________
1). Yes, I make takfir mu'ayyan of Andrew Tate. I also think he's pond scum & a degenerate POS.
I don't consider him to be Muslim because he unambiguously stated that he went to a church at Christmas to worship Jesus. He said this long after accepting Islam(1.1) & has not withdrawn this comment, nor made public tawbah.
Don't get too excited my takfiri brethren 😆, I won't be making a habit of such a thing (takfir).
1.1). Yes I have some questions about his shahada (public proclamation of faith) & am annoyed with the many "daw'aah bros" who initially platformed him.
2). 'Nushooz' (defiance) - traditional jurisprudence views a wife leaving the marital home without a valid excuse(2.1), or her husband's knowledge / permission, as an act of recalcitrance or disobedience.
2.1). A valid excuse may include, but is not limited to, medical appointments, grocery shopping or running errands.
3). Refers to Islamic jurisprudence.
4). 'Coercive control', according to *common law*, is a pattern of "controlling" behaviours within a relationship. Basically, these courts claim that men who instruct their wives on what they can wear, when they can leave the home etc., are the devil incarnate & worthy of cruel & unusual punishment.
5). I'm NOT positing that working, for married women, is haraam mutlaq (an absolute prohibition in Islamic law). In some homes, due to the cost of living, women do indeed work & *willingly spend* in the martial home. Others provide essential services (such as those professionals in the fields of education, gynaecology & obstetrics). However, this does NOT abrogate the right of the husband to curtail / amend / censor a wife's working status. To do so is to deny wilayah(5.1).
5.1). Guardianship & authority in family matters.
6 & 7). A working wife having their husband pay for daycare, yet keep their *entire salary* to spend on themselves &/or their overseas relatives, is haughty & grossly irresponsible. To be fank, I question the masculinity of men who accept this behaviour.
Such husbands allow their children to be raised by strangers, & their households fall into disrepair, because the wife is a shop-a-holic or wants to uphold silaat al rahim(7.1) with her overseas family at the expense of her husband & children.
Yes, a woman's money is hers alone (unless she states otherwise). However, to pass daycare costs onto the husband & spend her wage soley on herself, yet expect the lion's share of assets during a subsequent divorce, is CONDEMNABLE.
7.1). Refers to the ties of the womb (kinship). I've previously written about how this concept is abused by many Muslims 👇

8). This point is NOT in reference to wives who have worked outside the home & financially contributed to household bills.
