Hey ladies! I hope you are all having a great week. We wanted to pass along some information for a really great event and conference in Oklahoma City on September 25-26, 2026. The speaker, Jen Wilkin is a really great teacher and encourager for what God has laid on our hearts for this ministry, which is growing more into Women of the Word. Some of us will be attending and we just wanted to share the information with you all in case you wanted to get you a group of ladies together from your church and go together.

Ladies! Bethel Baptist Women have been hosting a free ladies lunch every 2nd Thursday. They are looking for some more churches or groups to collaborate with them! If this is something you are interested in please contact Molly Daun Brooks!

Tasha gave us a message and shared her testimony using Exodus 14:13-14. Below are the verses and a quote. It really is worth reading!

“And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.””

“ I dare say you will think it a very easy thing to “stand still”, but it is one of the postures which a Christian solider learns not without years of teaching. I find that marching and quick marching are much easier to God’s warriors than standing still. It is, perhaps l, the first thing we learn in the drill of human armies, but it is one of the most difficult to learn under the Captain of our salvation. The apostle seems to hint that there is difficulty when he says, “stand fast, and having done all, still stand.” To stand at ease in the midst of tribulation, shows a veteran spirit, long experience, and much grace. ~ Charles Spurgeon

Worship for this evenings event! We are so thankful for Melissa and Jessie leading us in singing to our Lord and preparing our hearts! It’s so beautiful to hear all the ladies singing together ❤️

What a great evening of fellowship with ladies from all over our county! Thank you to everyone who came to share your time and favorite snacks! Special thank you to Tasha Bradley for sharing the word and your testimony with us this evening! Tasha encouraged us of the importance of being silent/still with the Lord and trusting Him in the midst of life, trials and tribulation. It was such a needed word for our hearts. Thank you to Melissa McConnell and Jessie Stone for leading us in worship through song. As always, it was beautiful and prepared our hearts. We ended the night with making Bible tassle markers. It truly brings us joy to fellowship with all you ladies and we look forward to our next event! Mark your calendars for October 3rd ladies! Oney Baptist Church will be hosting the next event. More details coming soon! Until then please know we are praying for each and every one of you and that we all continue to grow more into being Women of the Word.
