The Burn is an international movement of people uniting in vertical worship. Crossing all denominations and ethnic backgrounds, they seek God on behalf of their city. These are people who want to pursue the heart of God passionately and without reserve. They want to surrender it all on the alter of worship, giving their hearts, minds, strength, and souls to their saviour and king. They believe tha
t He alone is worthy of their praise and they will go to any length to glorify Him with their lives, even to the point of death. They are willing to sacrifice everything everyday for a God who sacrificed everything for them on a cross. They don’t give up pursuing Him because they know that He never stops pursuing them. Their dreams are God’s dreams. Their heartbeat echoes His own. Jesus’ blood flows through their veins and the Holy Spirit is the air inside their lungs. Worship is not an activity, time, or place; it’s an identity, a state of being. It’s everything they live for and everything they do. We host monthly 12-hour worship nights, divided into two hour slots led by worship leaders from a variety of different churches and ministries. We invite people to enter into the presence of God and experience Him for themselves, letting Him meet them in different ways, whether that be singing, journaling, dancing, meditating, making art, or even napping.
