MDWK Kids is almost here!

If you have a child in 1st–4th grade, we'd love to invite them to Journey Kids on Wednesday nights!

Starting August 26, kids will spend 10 weeks discovering what it means to put on the Armor of God through exciting games, energetic worship, engaging Bible teaching, and lots of fun with friends.

You don't have to attend Journey Church or be part of a small group to join us. This is a free opportunity for kids throughout our community to make friends, grow in their faith, and learn about Jesus in a safe, fun, and encouraging environment.

One week. Countless memories. Eternal impact.

Kids Camp 2026 was so much more than games, swimming, and late nights. It was a week of kids opening God's Word, worshiping together, facing fears, building friendships, and learning what it means to be ALL IN for Jesus.

We're incredibly thankful for every volunteer, parent, prayer partner, and supporter who made this week possible. Your investment in the next generation is making an eternal difference.

One of our campers’ favorite songs this week was “Okay!” We may have listened to it… once or twice… or maybe 100 times. 😄

Our Kids Camp theme was ALL IN, and these kids wanted to share the dance they learned this week as a reminder that following Jesus is something worth celebrating.

Thank you for creating music that points the next generation to Jesus. It was such a fun part of our week.

❤️ Hooray Day was extra special today! ❤️

Our preschoolers spent the morning learning that God leads us to have faith—faith means trusting God even when we can't see everything. Through the stories of Noah, Abraham, and David, we discovered that God is always faithful and worthy of our trust.

One of the highlights of the day was welcoming our special guest, Mr. Charles! As one of the friendly faces who greets families each week at Journey, Mr. Charles helps everyone feel loved and welcome from the moment they walk through the doors. The kids were so excited to spend time with him, and this sweet group hug says it all! 🥰

Thank you, Mr. Charles, for showing the love of Jesus through your kindness, encouragement, and faithful service. We are so thankful for you!

Family Service Reminder!

Tomorrow, The Mix, Prep, and Students will join their families in the worship center.

We love Family Services because kids get to see faith lived out as they worship and learn alongside you. Birth–Kindergarten classes will be available as normal.

Today we celebrate our amazing Kids Ministry Assistant, Jaycee! She has been a part of Journey Church for almost 9 years, and it has been such a gift to watch her grow into the incredible young woman she is today.

Jaycee, you are kind, dependable, and have such a genuine love for our kids, families, and volunteers. You jump in wherever needed and serve with joy, and it does not go unnoticed.

19 looks so good on you! We are so grateful for you and the way you love and serve our church.
