Marriage isn’t just about two people- it’s a living parable of Christ’s covenant love for His church. This Sunday, we explored God’s beautiful design for marriage, the reality of sin, and most importantly, the hope of the gospel for all of us.

Whether you’re married, single, divorced, or struggling, Jesus is your perfect bridegroom who will never leave you. He doesn’t discard broken people—He restores them. Like kintsugi art, God doesn’t hide our cracks but transforms them into something beautiful. Your mess can become your message.

At the Lord’s table, we remember that instead of divorcing us for our unfaithfulness, Christ took our penalty at the cross. His broken body and shed blood secured our eternal union with Him. Whatever baggage you carry, you are loved, forgiven, and held secure by your Savior.

The church is a safe place for all—because we’re all sinners saved by grace, made beautiful together.

Most of us would do anything to escape the pain.

But what if the pain is actually God’s mercy?

Pain is an indicator — a signal that something deeper is wrong. And in His love, God allows it to wake us up, to reveal our sin, and to show us just how much we need Him.

The lepers in Luke 17 knew they were sick. Do we?

Don’t just pray for the pain to leave. Let it point you back to Jesus. Because the deepest healing always leads to the deepest worship.

JOAN had the privilege of serving the staff at Parsons Elementary during Teacher Appreciation Month! We are grateful for the opportunity to honor and pray for all local teachers who serve our community so faithfully, with a special highlight on the administration and Principal of Parsons Elementary.

What does Christ-like leadership really look like? Not charisma or strategy, but relational health rooted in the gospel.

Jesus teaches us in Luke 17:1-10 that godly leaders have a reconciling spirit—they confront sin with courage AND forgive with radical grace. We’re called to be peacemakers, not peace-fakers who avoid hard conversations or peace-breakers who withhold forgiveness. The power to do this impossible work? It’s not about having MORE faith, but about placing even mustard-seed faith in the RIGHT object: our mighty, forgiving God.

Jesus is our perfect peacemaker. He confronted our sin at the cross and offers infinite forgiveness. Come to the strong branch and be strengthened.
