Day 4 in the field complete! Our last work day is in the books!! We feel so very accomplished and grateful. We have completed the list given to us along with several other tasks. Today we met some Kuna women from the congregation/village and learned more about their history. They even provided us with a beautiful mola that is created for our church. We have been so blessed on this trip. There has been rain in the forecast every day, but the only time it down poured was when the work was completed and we were saying our good byes. God always has a plan and He is the one in control!!

A busy day in the field for Day 3!! We completed the painting tasks, plumbing and additional items that were added. Today, we will touch up the paint, do VBS, and finish some lighting projects.

We were able to check out the cause way as well. We had dinner there and walked around and did some shopping. There are more food vendors there than shopping spots. The area is beautiful. The kids tried new foods such as calamari and octopus.

God is so good!! Another productive day! The outside painting is getting closer to completion. We also started another project of painting the upstairs Pastors corridors. This is bonus work, since we have gotten so far with the to do list we were asked to complete. So grateful for all the talents we have on this trip! Karl likes to paint high spaces. Scott likes electrical and is knocking out all the issues with the lights inside and out. Chris will be working on more plumbing. Tom has kept us all well organized and moving forward. And Mike keeps us all entertained, along with helping wherever is needed.

All the kids have been helping with whatever tasks they have been asked to do, from painting, grunt work or VBS. They continue to stay upbeat and happy.

The rest of us have either done VBS or helped on other areas that were needed.

Today, Jess, Marion, and Laurie hosted 57 children for VBS. With the help of only 1 interpreter, they have improvised and made it all work!

Enjoy the accomplishments of today. Thank you for your continued prayers. We know God is working though us every day we are here 💕 and we are so grateful for Gods graces!

We had such a successful day!! We superseded the expectations of what we were able to get accomplished at the church. The rain stayed away till we were finished for the day and had cleaned up. There were about 15 children today for VBS. God surely blessed us today. Please pray for continued safety and ability for our team. Tomorrow we have a lot of high stuff to paint!

We were also tested to coconuts!! The fresh coconut water was delicious and refreshing!!

Today was a busy day- we had a church service at this beautiful church and they fed us pizza. The children had a cute song with paint, which reminds us we are all one! There is a canvas handprinted picture the children gifted us that we will bring back.The service was all in Spanish, but we were able to follow along in their bulletin. Today we prepared for our project by getting paint and supplies such as ladders we will need. The weather is warm and it did rain some today. Praying the rain will hold off till tomorrow afternoon so we can get the painting done!! Thank you for all your continued prayers and support ❤️🙏

The team has finally settled into our rooms at the hotel. Once we came into Panama and went through customs, etc, our host took us to eat. The kids ate fried chicken but did note it to be better than KFC. The adults expanded our palates and ate like the locals. It was all delicious!! More posts tomorrow with our church day and preparation for the work days ahead😁 God bless and good night!

We landed in Texas. We will board onto the next plane for Panama around 1:45 pm (Central time). We appreciate all your continued prayers and support!! We are so grateful to be able to fulfill the work of our Lord!! Next post will be when we arrive in Panama😁
