Are we witnessing the beginning of a career epidemic?

With many companies consolidating due to the AI takeover, men and women are being laid off across America. Spirit Airlines is just one of the companies adding to the growing number of displaced employees.

Not only are layoffs flooding in, but dissatisfied employees are desperately seeking new opportunities.

I’m having these conversations with everyday men and women, and the stress is real. The concern is real. People are desperately trying to leave their jobs because the demands have doubled and tripled. Some simply do not want additional responsibilities added to their workload, while others are overwhelmed by the weight of ever-increasing expectations.

What are you seeing in your industry? Join the conversation below.

Was the President Sleeping?

This video, provided by Forbes, captures a heated exchange during a House Foreign Affairs Committee hearing between Representative Ted Lieu (D-California) and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

Rep. Lieu accused President Trump of falling asleep, while Secretary Rubio pushed back against the claim. The exchange quickly became tense, with Lieu insisting Secretary Rubio was not being truthful about what occurred. Lieu appeared clearly hostile throughout the exchange and even minimized the office of the presidency by referring to the president simply as “Donald Trump” rather than using the presidential title.

What do you think?

Was President Trump actually sleeping?
Was he simply resting his eyes?
How does this compare to the concerns and criticisms many Americans raised regarding President Joe Biden’s public appearances and energy level?

Watch the video and decide for yourself. Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

1 in 3 Americans who go to purchase prescription medication leave without it because they can’t afford it.

Think about that.

At the same time, many of these same prescription drugs are sold in other countries at significantly lower prices than they are in the United States.

Dr. Oz discusses drug pricing and what it means for everyday Americans.

James Talarico will now face Ken Paxton for the U.S. Senate seat. Is Talarico a match?

Texas AG Ken Paxton, endorsed by Trump as a "MAGA Warrior," defeats Sen. John Cornyn in the heated Republican Senate primary runoff election.

Alan Dershowitz was a Democrat for 67 years. He is a constitutional law professor, Harvard Law School professor emeritus, criminal defense attorney, and legal scholar.

He has now left the Democrat Party and registered as a Republican. Listen to his reasons why.

While Republicans also don’t get everything right, his two reasons for leaving the Democrat Party should be on everyone’s mind—especially as local elections approach and the next presidential election cycle.

I have prayed for wisdom for all three of these presidents, even when I passionately disagreed with their policies. And still, may we treat leadership with conviction, but also humility.

This book—although not written objectively by John Dickerson—makes this sentiment even more true.

Today’s political landscape has made it increasingly difficult for those who value non-biased facts and objective reporting. Some issues are visible in plain sight and may be uncomfortable to acknowledge, including concerns related to inflation, gas prices, food costs, and other economic pressures affecting everyday Texans. At the same time, there are additional issues that require deeper research and personal investigation in order to fully understand the positions and policies being considered at the ballot box.

This is a challenging time to evaluate candidates from either party with clarity and confidence. However, the following information is provided for public awareness and consideration.

This is not an official endorsement of the Paxton campaign. It is simply informational context that every Texan should be aware of when making informed decisions.
