“Wala siya sa tono…”
Share ko lang yung experience ko kanina sa church.

Praise and worship na, at ang inaawit namin ay “Napakabuti Mo.”
Habang kumakanta, sobrang conscious ako sa tamang tono. Gusto ko ma-hit yung tamang notes para maganda ang worship experience at makasabay ako nang maayos.

Pero habang busy ako sa pag-aayos ng tono ko, may isang malakas na boses sa likod.
Sobrang lakas niyang kumanta—halos natatabunan niya buong congregation.
At sa totoo lang… basag na basag siya.
Wala talaga sa tono.

Paulit-ulit niyang sinisigaw:

“NAPAKABUTI MO PANGINOON!”

Na-distract ako.
Sa isip ko, “Nasira naman yung worship moment.”

Pero habang iniisip ko yun, parang biglang may bumulong sa puso ko.
Malinaw. Malakas.

“ANG GANDA NG PUSO NIYA.
YAN ANG PAGSAMBANG HINAHANAP KO.”

Doon ako natahimik.

Minsan kasi sobrang focused tayo sa performance kaya nakakalimutan natin ang pinakaimportante—ang puso.

Hindi mali ang excellence.
Hindi mali ang magandang tugtugan, tamang tono, at maayos na worship.
Pero tandaan natin:
Mas tinitingnan ng Diyos ang pusong tunay kaysa boses na perfect.

Maaaring basag ang boses niya para sa tao,
pero baka yung pagsamba niya ang pinaka maganda sa pandinig ng Diyos.

LESSON:

God is not only listening to the sound of your voice.
He is looking at the sincerity of your heart.

“Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7

Hindi lahat ng magaling kumanta ay totoong sumasamba.
At hindi lahat ng basag ang boses ay malayo sa Diyos.

May mga boses na hindi perfect ang tono,
pero wasak naman sa presensya ng Panginoon.

At minsan… yun ang klaseng worship na hinahanap Niya

May 1 is the feast day of St. Joseph the Worker!

It is celebrated as the Memorial of St. Joseph the Worker.
