This missionary visit has finally come to an end. The journey lasted nearly four weeks, during which we visited several Hindu and Buddhist countries in Asia.

We witnessed firsthand the mighty power and wonderful works of the Holy Spirit. Although the local churches face various difficulties and challenges, they continue to press forward bravely in faith, serving their neighbors with love, and bearing a beautiful testimony of the Word becoming flesh.

The churches in Nepal generally lack the financial resources to support full-time pastors. Most pastors have to be a tentmaker. To help seminary students gain employable skills, WCCM partnered with the Nepal Presbyterian Theological Seminary last year to launch a pilot diploma program in Software Development. After one year of training, the first cohort of two seminary students successfully graduated. We plan to expand this program to other seminaries next year. Please keep this in your prayers.

With Nepal’s economy in poor condition and unemployment remaining high, young people face limited job opportunities. As a result, many are forced to seek low-wage labor abroad, a trend that has significantly affected the development of the local church.
