TAP world, it’s time we meet our new director…Mr. Trevor Wersal!! Trevor is an alumnus of TAP (2022-2023), recently got married to , and is so excited to begin working with students and TAP’s partner ministries ( and ).

Trevor will be learning the ropes of the director position over the next few months, and by May he will be running TAP on his own! Please pray for Trevor during this leadership transition.

If you’re reading this, you’re invited to TAP’s graduation ceremony in May! We’ll be celebrating this year’s TAP grads, sending off Steven, and commissioning Trevor Wersal as our new director.

Announcement: at the end of May, our first Executive Director, Steven Wagner, will be ending his time as the director of TAP. Steven has graciously served TAP in this capacity for nearly six years and has been involved with the creation & sustainment of TAP for over eight years. Please watch this video from Steven, in which is expresses his gratitude to TAP, reveals his successor, and shares his optimism for the future of this ministry.

We have a few more posts lined up for later this month/spring that further outline the rest of TAP's upcoming leadership transition, but for now, here's "Steven's Goodbye." 🥲

Last month, we decided to donate our first vehicle, “Richard,” to the here in Alexandria. It became increasingly clear that it was time for Richard to bless someone new, and there’s no better place to pass along a vehicle than the Car Care Program here in town.

We wanted to take a moment to commemorate the van that made TAP possible for those first few years. TAP isn’t TAP without our vehicles, and certainly not without Richard for our first three years. Take a moment with us to remember and celebrate our dear van, Richard 🖤

Travel update from TAP:

Sometimes things break at very inconvenient times. Last night (Sunday, November 23) our front left wheel bearing unexpectedly seized while we were driving up to Lookout Pass along Interstate 90 in Idaho. We had to be towed to Missoula, Montana, where we spent the night. Our van was looked at and fixed today (Monday, November 24). Steven will be driving the van back starting tomorrow (Tuesday, November 25). TAP decided to fly students home for Thanksgiving break, so they are going to be home safe tonight.

Please pray for Steven's journey tomorrow and Wednesday. There is a sizable snow storm moving across the upper midwest this week; Steven is going to drive behind it but not in it. Pray for his alertness, for safe passage back to Minnesota, and for our van to now remain in good working order.

The last piece to this...we did not foresee any of these expenses (towing, hotel, van repair, etc.). If you find yourself moved to support us financially recover from this situation, we cannot express how grateful we are to you for helping out get through this bind. Steven will give an update this week about all of our already answered prayers and provision, but we still have a ways to go yet.

Thank you so much for following along with our ministry! We are all grateful to be safe and able to give testimony to God's hand in all of this!

Just because you aren’t a TAP student this year doesn’t mean you can’t come to our fall classes this year! Classes are free to attend and cabin rentals at Mount Carmel are available for those looking to stay for a few days of class. Class details are in this post and also on our website (link is in our LinkTree on our profile). Reach out to Steven if you have any questions and we hope to see you sometime this fall!
