One Year in America: Faith, Growth, and New Beginnings 🇺🇸🩺
Today marks one year since I moved to the United States. A year ago, I left behind everything familiar—my comfort zone, my home, my routines with more questions than answers.
🔸I didn’t know exactly how life would unfold, but I held on to faith for each new chapter. And yes, it hasn’t always been easy; I’ve had to face some good and not-so-good challenges. There have been moments of homesickness; long shifts, steep learning curves, and setbacks that stretched me in ways I didn’t expect.
Suffice to say, working as a registered nurse in a new system challenged me, but it also shaped me. Growth has a funny way of disguising itself as discomfort. Lol
🔹Now, one year later, I’m standing at another crossroads; I’m embarking on a career change. Am I 100% certain about what’s next? Nope! But if this year has taught me anything, it’s that the script rarely reveals itself all at once. It just keeps showing up page by page.
So I’m moving forward with what I have—A “mustard” faith, a bit of delusion, and a great smile. For now, that’s enough.💥
