🚨 Important Update on Gender-Affirming Care in New York 🚨

New York Attorney General Letitia James has reaffirmed the state’s commitment to protecting gender-affirming care for minors in response to President Trump’s January 28, 2025, Executive Order.

The New York State Office of the Attorney General (OAG) has received reports that some providers have suspended appointments and canceled treatments due to fear of federal action. We want to be absolutely clear:

✅ Gender-affirming care remains legal and protected in New York
✅ Federal funding has NOT been cut for providers offering this care
✅ Courts have issued restraining orders blocking enforcement of the Executive Order

New York has strong Shield Laws that protect healthcare providers and patients from out-of-state legal actions or federal overreach. State and local agencies cannot assist in investigating or penalizing providers offering gender-affirming care.

If you or your organization is impacted by these developments, please reach out to the Attorney General’s Office for support. We are committed to ensuring that healthcare professionals can continue to provide life-saving care without fear.

🏳️‍⚧️ Trans rights are human rights. New York will not back down. 🏳️‍⚧️

🔹 For legal assistance and resources:
• Office of the NY Attorney General – Civil Rights Division
• NY State Division of Human Rights – Gender Identity Discrimination Guide
• Local LGBTQ+ advocacy organizations

📢 We urge healthcare providers, legal professionals, and advocates to share this information widely. The fight to protect gender-affirming care continues, and New York stands firm in its commitment to the LGBTQ+ community.

A message from our Founder LaMia Aiken-Medina

Hey You, Yes You beloved

Our 2025 HIVSTOPSWITHME Campaign has officially launched!

I’m so elated as for this is my 7th year of serving with the HIV Stops With Me campaign!

As many are aware we are facing and witnessing a pivotal moment in our history on so many fronts, specifically as it relates to our fight to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic, end stigma, reject misinformation and disinformation, our ability to bring about awareness and safeguard access to comprehensive and culturally specific healthcare.

As identity politics good or bad seems to be the focus of our elected officials, I’ll say this
“I will not be erased, My life Matters, I’m here in the now, I will not be silenced nor relinquish my right to exist authentically.

I would like to encourage you to take control of your life, take control of your voice, take control of your health, take control of your actions and response.

As the CEO of your life you have the fortitude and power to make decisions that will make your very existence more abundant, meaningful, fulfilling and prosperous!

Predetermined Destiny and Devine Purpose
