🎃🍁IT’S EVENT WEEK! A LITTLE REFORMATION, A LOT OF FALL FUN!🍁🎃

The countdown is ON! 🍂 We’re gearing up for our 2nd Annual Trunk or Treat & Chili Cook-Off, and we can’t wait to celebrate with our church family and community!

📜 95 reasons to join us? We can think of at least two: CANDY and CHILI! 😄🎃🌶️

As we celebrate Reformation season and remember the ways God continues to renew our faith, we’re also looking forward to a day filled with fellowship, laughter, and plenty of fall fun!

We are so proud to have Alamance Children's Theatre as a community partner and donate church space for them to use as they prepare for shows.

A group of our members were able to attend over the weekend to show support and see the wonderful Cinderella show they put on. All of our members have given nothing but wonderful reviews and amazed at the talent of these performers.

We cannot wait for their next production, A Christmas Carol!

Over the last three days myself and church leaders gathered to learn and grow with one another; celebrating God's work in our lives. We covered topics on Catechesis, racial injustice, and faithful stewardship of our resources. These kinds of events are important to connect us with the larger church beyond the walls of Alamance Lutheran, and we are proud supporters of the NC Synod, ELCA.

As a pastor, it is such a blessing to have a large community of clergy to support each other and worship with. I give thanks for Rev. Leila M. Ortiz and her wonderful message of being rooted and rising in God.

As we say goodbye to summer, we’re taking a moment to look back at some of the ways we shared it together!

We celebrated summer with fellowship, laughter, learning, and plenty of time spent simply being together, this summer gave us so many opportunities to live out what it means to be a community.

Thank you to everyone who helped make these moments possible, and to everyone who showed up, participated, volunteered, laughed, played, and shared a meal along the way.

We’re grateful for the memories we made this summer and excited for all that the seasons ahead will bring!

After such a wonderful "God's Work, Our Hands" Sunday, Our ELCA brothers and sisters at Low's Lutheran reached out to us to join them in supporting their EM Holt Backpack Program. We will be contributing a portion of our usual "Blessing Box" offerings toward their program.

Please join us in supporting this ministry for the month. You can bring donations to the church during the week from 9 AM - 2PM or on Sunday morning. Bring them to the office entrance behind the church sign and we can put them in our red donation bin!
