OUR BELIEFS & PRINCIPLES
We are a metaphysical Christian church. We look beyond literal interpretations of the Bible and find deeper meaning applicable to our lives today. Jesus taught that the kingdom of heaven is within you and that faith is a power you can use to accomplish great things. This is a universal message also found in spiritual teachings around the world. Jesus gave only two rules to live by: a) Love God with all your heart, b) love your neighbor as yourself.
1-God is the creative love-intelligence that governs the universe. It is the source and substance of all. Ultimately, God cannot be fully described. But we can relate to It very personally and intimately.
2-Every person is an individualized expression of God made in Its image and likeness. This is the meaning of being children of God. No one is left out.
3-As individualized expressions of the Divine Creative Power, we also have creative power to shape our lives in ways that matter to us. It all starts in the mind. Whatever thoughts we sow in mind, eventually grow into the experiences we have.
4-We are in a continual state of growth. Our job is to be an outlet through which the Divine can express Itself. It is the duty of each person to discover what gifts and talents lie within and exercise them to be a beneficial presence on Earth. OUR VALUES

1. Prayer - We pray affirmatively to declare the good we wish to have.
2. Meditation - Meditation clears the mind to hear God’s voice within.
3. Self-Inquiry - We examine our negative thoughts to gain mental freedom.
4. Service - We put our faith into action to expand the good in the world.
