Daria, a Russian college student in search of “the full American experience,” decided to attend a Chi Alpha service in January. While she only planned to go once, Daria quickly developed friendships, joined a Bible study, and started attending Chi Alpha services faithfully. She also began going to church every Sunday with U.S. missionary Beverly Freund. She eagerly agreed when Beverly asked if she wanted to meet weekly to learn more about Jesus.

After a discipleship meeting in April, Daria told Beverly she was ready to commit her life to Christ.

“We held hands as Daria prayed in her native language to receive Jesus as her Savior and Lord,” says Beverly. “I had the privilege to water baptize her on campus a week later!”

This Sunday we will be celebrating Missions. Come celebrate with us! Missions festival begins Saturday Oct. 21 from 11am-2pm and continues on Sunday with a combined service at 10am. Festival continues after service in the gym from 12pm-2pm. Hope to see you there!

Hey family! Just wanted to remind everyone of our Mission festival tomorrow 11-2 pm and Sunday 12-2. Sunday service starts at 10 am! Also, this is Mobile Cafe’s Sunday of the month off!
