TRUTH, WARFARE, AND BREAKING EVERY CURSE

Scripture Focus
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32 (NKJV)

Message
Truth is not denial. Freedom is not pretending. The Word of God teaches that you cannot overcome what you refuse to acknowledge. Jesus said truth makes us free, meaning freedom comes when reality is confronted with revelation and dealt with by spiritual authority.

The curse that came through Adam affected the earth, systems, and human experience. Even today, people still see its effects in struggle, delay, resistance, and oppression. But the believer is not helpless. You can be blessed in a cursed world because the blessing of Abraham still operates through covenant and faith.

There is a difference between faith declaration and spiritual warfare. Faith speaks victory, but deliverance confronts resistance. Some situations require direct confrontation: poverty, oppression, generational patterns, and persistent failure. You do not negotiate with them; you break them in the name of Jesus.

But victory begins with truth. You must identify what is not working, reject passivity, and take spiritual authority. The enemy thrives where ignorance and denial remain. Once exposed, he loses ground.

Takeaway
Freedom begins when truth is embraced and spiritual authority is exercised. You cannot break what you refuse to recognize.

Prayer
Lord, open my eyes to truth and deliver me from spiritual blindness. I receive courage to confront every negative pattern in my life. By the power in the name of Jesus, I break every curse and walk in victory, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Repentance | Pastor Solomon Mwesige | Good News Church Bulenga
Repentance is a genuine turning away from sin and turning back to God. It is not merely worldly sorrow, being sorry only because one was caught, nor is it simply reformation, outward religion, or mental belief without life change. True repentance involves a deep change of heart and mind.

In the Old Testament, repentance is described as grieving, sighing, lamenting, and returning to God. In the New Testament, it means a change of mind and purpose that results in both inward and outward transformation. Repentance is brought about through the conviction of the Holy Spirit and includes conviction of sin, sincere sorrow, and a deliberate decision to turn from sin to God.

True repentance produces visible fruit in a person’s life, showing genuine transformation and obedience to God.

Repentance from Sin | Pastor Solomon Mwesige | Good News Church Bulenga

Repentance from sin is the foundation of salvation and a true relationship with God. It means turning away from sin and turning toward God in faith. From the prophets to John the Baptist, Jesus, Peter, and Paul, the message was clear: “Repent and turn to God.” Repentance is not just feeling guilty, it is a genuine change of heart and life that leads to obedience and salvation.

NO MORE SHAME

Scripture Focus
Joel 2:26 (NKJV) “You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God… My people shall never be put to shame.”

Message
There is a point where enough becomes enough. Enough of loss. Enough of shame. Enough of things slipping through your hands when you worked so hard for them.

God never designed you to live a life where you are constantly recovering from embarrassment. That cycle of “almost there” and then suddenly everything collapses is not your portion.

Look around Kampala. A man builds a small business, it begins to grow, then suddenly losses begin. A relationship looks promising, then confusion enters and everything scatters. A student starts strong, then distractions and unseen battles slow them down. These are not random patterns. Something is eating results.

The Bible calls them “locusts.” Not always physical, but systems of loss. Things that consume, things that chew slowly, things that finish what you started.

But God’s word is clear: you shall eat in plenty. Not struggle in little. Not survive on leftovers. Plenty.

And then He says something powerful: you shall not be put to shame.
Meaning there is a version of your life where things finally work. Where what you build stands. Where what you start finishes.

But this shift requires a decision. You must reject shame as a lifestyle. Refuse loss as normal. Close every door that allows destruction to repeat.

God restores, yes. But He also stabilizes.

Takeaway
I refuse cycles of loss. I step into a life of plenty and stability in Christ.

Prayer
Lord, I reject every pattern of shame and loss in my life. Every power consuming my efforts, I break it in Jesus’ name. Establish my work, restore what was lost, and bring me into a season of plenty and honor in Jesus’ name. Amen.
