💔 URGENT: We are out of food. We need your help.

After the passing of our dear sponsor, Mummy Jennifer, our eyes have been opened wide. Even though we had a plan, now is the time to fully commit to this project—because right now, we are out of food, out of books, and unable to pay our teachers.

Today we received some small donations, but if nothing comes tomorrow, we have nothing.

So our team sat down together, and we are planning a BIG sustainability project to make sure we never end up here again:

🐷 Piggery
🐔 Poultry
🐐 Goat rearing
🐄 Cattle rearing

These are profitable businesses if managed well. From the profits, we can run the school—even without donations. I will explain more in future posts (we are writing the proposal now).

But right now, we need immediate help.

We are raising funds to buy food and scholastic materials that will last us for months, while we save up for the sustainability program.

👇 In the video below, you can see our food store. It's empty. No food for the coming days.

You may ask: Why did you wait until the food ran out?

We had planned to harvest sweet potatoes by the end of this week, but they are not ready yet—just a few more weeks. That's how we ended up here.

On top of this, we are still building a new classroom. Right now the children are so congested that two classes are taught in one building—it disrupts their learning and is not approved by the authorities.

Please, donate any support via our PayPal. Every bit will go to buying food, books, and keeping the school going while we build a better future.

Thank you for standing with us. 🙏

A message from Uganda to our American friends 🇺🇬➡️🇺🇸

Today is Memorial Day in the United States—a day set apart to remember those who never came home. The ones who laid down their lives in service of their country and its people.

Though we are thousands of miles away, we recognize the weight of this day. Sacrifice touches every nation, and honor has no borders. So today, we pause and say: We remember with you. We respect your fallen heroes. And we hold their families in our thoughts.

To all our American friends, we salute your courage and your loss.

And to our sponsors—thank you. You have stood with us in every situation. When things were uncertain, you didn't step back. When we needed support the most, you stepped up. We don't take that for granted. This message of honor and gratitude goes out to you as well.

From our home in Uganda to yours in America—peace, respect, and remembrance.

🇺🇸🕊️🤝

No one has ever become poor from giving.

Sometimes those who give the most are the ones with the least to spare."

"No one has ever become poor from giving."

I keep reading these two quotes because they give me hope.

We are building a temporary classroom for children who have nothing but dreams. We finished the roof. But we still lack timber, sand, bricks, and more.

And yet — I know there are people out there with big hearts, even if their wallets are small. You are the ones who understand. You are the ones who give anyway.

Please. These children need you.

$50. $100. A shared post. A silent prayer. It all matters.

You will not become poor by giving. But these children will remain poor if no one gives.

Be the reason they believe again.

God bless you. A child's prayer is on its way to heaven for you.

Honoring Mummy Jennifer Estes 💔🌿

Today, we came together as a community to hold a prayer service for our beloved Mummy Jennifer.

We started with prayers, and it was truly touching to see over 200 community members join us, our school director. He spoke powerfully about her kindness—how she fed children breakfast, bought school uniforms for those in need, and even personally supported one of our teachers.

The atmosphere was heavy with tears and sadness, but as we reflected on her life, we chose to celebrate the gift she was to all of us. God used her to help so many, and her impact is still alive in our community.

We also make this call: to all friends of Mummy Jennifer, please step forward and help fill the gap she has left behind.
For support please donate via our PayPal https://paypal.me/KigoogwaMinistries

After the service, we shared lunch together, and in the midst of grief, people still found moments of joy and fellowship.

May God continue to comfort her mother, her husband, her children, grandchildren, and all her loved ones.

Rest in peace, Mummy Jennifer. The tree you planted will surely bear fruit. Your legacy will never be forgotten. 🕊️

It is so hard to make this announcement. 💔

On Tuesday, we will be holding a prayer service for our beloved Mummy Jennifer Estes. The entire community and all the children will come together to honor her life and pay our last tribute.

Please keep us in your thoughts as we gather to celebrate a woman who gave so much to our family here in Uganda. 🕊️🌳

It is hard to find the right words today. 💔

Our dear monthly sponsor, Mummy Jennifer Estes , has left us. And honestly, I am out of words.

I keep going back to May 24, 2024 — the day she sent her very first message. It read, "How do we donate from the US?" No long introductions. Just a pure heart, ready to give. From that single message, she became family. She became one of us.

Since then, Mummy Jennifer has been a mother to hundreds of children. Her monthly support helped grow our school and strengthen our organization in ways I cannot fully express. But beyond the donations, it was her spirit — she always talked about coming to Uganda from Texas. "Next year," she would tell me. "Next year I am coming." We held onto that promise together.

We spoke last on Mother's Day. How fitting for a woman who mothered so many, even across oceans.

Something we will hold close forever — she left two trees planted at our school. One for her, one for her husband. Those trees will grow tall, a lasting tribute to a love that crossed continents. 🌳🌳

Here in the village, we are now preparing a prayer service. The entire community will gather to pay our final tribute and lift her name in prayer. Even in grief, we want to honor her the way she honored us — with love and togetherness.

May God wrap His comfort around her family and friends. And may we live every day remembering the kindness she planted here.

Rest peacefully, Mummy Jennifer. You are forever part of our story. 🕊️
