As a believer, the Lord does not only want you to stop sinning, He also expects the desire in your heart for that particular sin to die. That is why God sent His Son to take us back to God's perfect image and restore dominion to us. Then we could be blessed again, and once again qualify to have eternal life (John 3:16, Mark 16:16). The blood of Jesus is so powerful that it removes every evil thought, attitude and motive from our hearts (Jeremiah 4:14). If you still harbor evil thoughts in your heart, then you are not a born-again Christian (saved). If your salvation depends on merely restraining your exterior body' from sinning without caring for your inner 'spirit' then you urgently need a revival.

After we have been cleaned by the blood of Jesus Christ, He gives us the Holy Spirit. The first thing the Holy Spirit does is to enable us to bear the fruit of the Spirit (characteristics of God) (Galatians 5:22-23).

Take the example of love. In (Matthew 5:44-48). Jesus tells us to love our enemies, even though they do not love us. When we become children of God, our spirit is perfected to resemble God because we are perfected in Him (Matthew 5:48). Therefore the Holy Spirit perfects us and we take on the very nature of God. Endurance is another fruit of the spirit. Here, you endure insults without your heart reacting in anger. Our God is an enduring God who does not react according to our actions (sin or wickedness). He is ever patient with us .

To Be Perfected In The Lord.

Therefore leaving the principal of the doctrine of Christ let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith towards God (Hebrews 6:1). Paul clearly tells us the importance of being perfected in the Lord, in order not to keep falling into the same sins or repeating the same mistakes.

What we should know is that we were created in the perfect image of God, to have dominion over everything that the Lord created on this planet (Genesis 1:26-27).

WORD AT WORK IN US

2 Cor 5:17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

This is a fact of our current position in Christ Jesus that when comprehended in its simplicity by even any common man, he then will realize that in his new status and estate all things have become new.

Therefore anything, any condition that was familiar with your previous status just gets dissolved.

Infirmities, poverty, failures can't stay with such a man. This new man has attained a new nature that is incorruptible for he's been born of the word of God that lives and abides forever for eternity.

I ask you to consume this fact that has been there for over 2000 years. When you yield your faculties to this, the experience becomes more real to the natural man who will then cease from being and dwelling in the natural.

THE TIME IS NEAR!

The time is near.
Blessed are you that reads this prophecy, Revelation.
Blessed are you that he is this prophecy.
And blessed are you that you believe in it and keep it by implementing it in your life by

- believing and saying what am I doing?
-where am I heading?
-what am I gonna achieve if I keep on going in this particular path?
-Until when am I gonna be decieved by the enemy.
-Until when am I gonna be decieved by temptations of this world?

The time is near!
The book of Revelations is saying it's near. Near means it's very close.
The time of judgement is very close.
The time of putting an end to everything is very close.

-So where is your Head?
-Where is your Heart?
-Where is your sense of Godly direction?

Dependency on Prophets is Idolatry

Jesus did not promise to send us prophets for guidance in life. Jesus promised to send us the Holy Spirit to guide us (John 14:16-18).

Under the Old Covenant, God spoke predominantly through the prophets because the Spirit of God was in them. In the new dispensation of grace, the Holy Spirit is in every believer in Christ.

Throughout church history, any true prophet points people to Jesus. No genuine man of God directs people to himself. True prophets want everyone to develop a personal relationship with Jesus.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus – 1 Tim 2:5.

I believe in praying together and for one another. But anyone who tells you that they must pray for you for God to answer your prayer is a false prophet. False prophets create dependency syndrome.

Beloved of God,

You’re in the lineage of great matriarchs and patriarchs! The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob has branded you as His own - with the God label!

You discern the anointing in the people, places and situations around you, even yourself! You are called and anointed by God.

You are blessed with godly relationships. You walk in agreement, serving and worshiping the same living God with all your associations.

You live by the voice of God!

You’re neither corrupted nor victimised by the labels of this world. You are affirmed by God and live in that consciousness and glory.

The Gospel baptised you into newness and delivered you from every label, stereotype and predictability.

You don’t live in the shadows of the labels of this fallen world order but in the light of Christ; you are the light of the world! Hallelujah!

Yesterday I visited a friend of mine, who is blind. And because it was night he did something that taught me a lesson.
Upon entering the house, he switched on the light.
And I asked him "why did you put on the light yet you can't see?" He laughed for a long time, switched off the light and went to the kitchen, after a short while he came with a pot of tea and eggs, placed them perfectly well on the table and switched on the light again.
What he said made me shed tears because he said to me, Peter....... I did not put on the light for my own sake or because I needed it, I did it for you because you needed it since you are not blind like me".
Then he asked me, Peter!!! How many times have you switched off the light for other people and denied them an opportunity to see light just because you yourself do not need it?" I thought about that so deeply

I ask you the same question today. How many times have you put off your lights and denied others an opportunity to see the light while they are in darkness?

Why would you let your accounts grow to millions while your brother's child is going barefooted?

Why would you put clothes you don't wear in the bin while someone out there is almost going naked?

Why would food rot in your house while there is someone out there sleeping hungry?

Why will you see a business opportunity and hide it without sharing with your friends when you know you won’t use it?

Why will you be in a position to help someone get a promotion or a new job and you keep it because the person is not from your family, tribe or religion?

Why will you defame your brother or sister just because you don't want someone to help them?

Each of The Questions above is equivalent to switching “Off The Light”
These are the things we should be mindful of as Human beings.
This is true religion, helping the needy and being there for those who do not have a voice.

Please turn on the lights you switched Off!
