Everyday at 7am - 7.30am, there is Holy Mass followed by the recitation of Divine Mercy Chapelet.
Every Tuesday, Thursday and the First Fridays of the months, there is Eucharistic Exposition and Adoration from 7.30am to 8am. As for the First Fridays (usually dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus), Eucharistic adoration starts at 7.30am (after Mass) to mid day (12 noon).
Every Tuesday at 1pm, there is Mass in Trading Centre. (On Sundays, Mass is at 5pm in Trading Centre at Pius Gardens)
Every Wednesday, there is Mass at 5pm for youths (just that there is Mass at 5pm on Sundays for youths). On Wednesday too, members of Legion of Mary meet.

Sacramental Life

For all wishing to sanctify their marriages in Holy Matrimony, please come and talk to our priests here.
For all those who have children or adults not yet baptised, you are also welcome to bring them for preparation and baptism.
For all those who need to confess their sins so that one can purify oneself and worthily receive Holy Communion, please come and ask our priests for the sacrament of Penance (Reconciliation)
The arrangement for children undergoing catechesis will be announced as soon as possible so that they are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
Even other sacraments like Anointing of the sick, please bring to our notice the elderly and the sick who need it.
Finally, for those young boys or girls wishing to become priests, brothers or sisters, please come and talk to our priests here. Do not fear.

Thank you all! You are all welcome.

KYABAKUZA PARISH

Our new parish priest, Rev. Fr. Jerome Ssekiwunga and his curate, Rev. Fr. George Gonzaga Mayanja are encouraging us to pray the Rosary daily in this holy month. Also at the parish, we have Rev. Fr. Bonaventure Kalyesubula and Rev. Fr. Joseph Matovu (the would-be parish priest of Kisojjo) and Rev. Dn. Alex Kiyimba.
Currently we have six subparishes: Kyabakuza Subparish, Kyabakuza Trading Centre subparish, Kabaale Kisosso Subparish, Kabukolwa Subparish, Kingo Subparish and Kitambuza Subparish.
The subparishes of Budda and Kyamabaale which were formerly part of us now belong to Kisojjo centre, as the Bishop directed.
At the parish, we have three Masses every Sunday: at 7am, at 9am (for children) and at 5pm. We also have a Mass at 4pm every Sunday at Mwalo centre. We have Mass at 5pm every sunday at Kyabakuza Trading Centre subparish. (at Pius' Gardens). Thank you all.

OPENING A PAGE

In August, 2015, His Lordship the Rt. Rev. John Baptist Kaggwa, who was the local bishop of Masaka Diocese then, erected the parish of Divine Mercy at Kyabakuza encompassing five subparishes of Kyabakuza, Kabale Kisosso, Budda, Kyamabaale and Kabukolwa. Rev. Fr. John Baptist Kintu and Rev. Fr. John Baptist Ssennyondo pioneered the ministry here.

Later Frs. Kizito Lubega and Francis Kateregga joined in and have since been transferred to other ministries. Now with Fr. Ssekiwunga as parish priest and Fr Bonny Kalyesuubula and Fr. Mayanja, Kyabakuza is ready to open up a page of it's own. We thank you all who support our parish and ask you to continue.

May God bless you all. Please feel free to post anything on our page for the propagation of the Catholic Faith here in Kyabakuza and beyond. We welcome past photos showing the history of this young parish, and new ones also (updates). Thanks again!
