Why Should a Christian Look at the Cross?

1. To Perfect Our Faith
The cross strengthens our beliefs and deepens our trust in God's promises.

2. To Experience Fullness of Joy
Reflecting on the cross allows us to discover true joy that transcends our circumstances.

3. To Receive Emotional Support
The cross reminds us that we are never alone; we have a compassionate Savior who understands our struggles.

4. To Find Comfort
In times of distress, the cross provides solace, assuring us of God's unwavering presence and love.

5. To Encourage Personal Reflection
The cross invites us to examine our lives, guiding us toward spiritual growth and deeper understanding.

6. To Gain Hope and Assurance in Christ Jesus
The cross instills hope, reminding us of the promises and eternal life we have through Jesus.

7. To Reconcile Us with God Through Christ Jesus
The cross is the means by which we are restored to a right relationship with God.

On this special occasion of the Women’s Day, we celebrate and honour each one of you, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made *(Psalm 139:14)*. Your strength, wisdom, and nurturing spirit reflect God's love in our community.

As Proverbs 31:25-26 reminds us, "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue." May you continue to inspire those around you and shine brightly in all that you do.
