REST IN PEACE GRANDMA
The family of the late Papa Robert Opedun with deep sorrow announces the death of Tata Magdalene Angoku, the mother to Beatrice Opedun who passed away this morning on the 28th of August 2024 in Kumi home senior quarters.

Burial arrangements are as follows.

Body will be brought from Bethesda Hospital Soroti to Kumi Home senior quarters for viewing on Saturday 31st August.

Body will then proceed to Kumi P.A.G Church for prayers at 2:00pm

At 5pm Body will depart to the Kachumbala, Kongunga village for night vigil.

Sunday 1st September will be the burial.

"Who Art Thy Genesis?" Drama delves into the concept of human origin and the diverse beliefs surrounding creation such as evolution. It begins with analysing the genesis of biblical patriarchs such as Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham, Adam, Noah, Joseph, Cain, Enoch , Abel and so on. The virtues and contributions of these figures are acknowledged, prompting an exploration of the foundations of their existence leading to our existence.

Concluding with conviction, it proclaims that the Triune God; Elohim: God-the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is the true genesis, irrespective of crises or challenges.

Topic: KEEP AWAY FROM CHARACTER ASSASSINATION!

Text:James 4:11 American Standard Bible.
Do not speak against one another, brothers and sisters. The one who speaks against a brother or sister, or judges his brother or sister, speaks against the law and judges the law; but if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge of it.

Today we will talk about rumour mongering, slandering, backbiting, backstabbing, speaking against another, false accusations, etc. This is an existing issue in and outside the church today.
Our lead scripture assures us not to speak evil against one another.
People sit in teams, some in groups, others two by two, on phone,on radio, on WhatsApp, or even physically.
Others speak and bring it in form of a prayer request, while some use signs and or body language eg using their eyes, lips, I know you understand what I am talking about.
It is wrong and the word of God warns us against it.

Fellow Christians end up speaking against one another. This is what James was warnig the church against.

One mistake you should never make in life, is to allow yourself to be recruited by someone, to speak evil of another person.

Hear this: “ We must avoid taking hasty conclusions because of what others are saying about someone else.."
Deal with log in your eye instead of speaking evil against others. Sometimes even for nothing or no reason or could be something minor.
We are all unique created in the image of God.
Some things talked about in most cases are somebody's height, weight, age, dressing code, walking style,family issues, and more and more the list is endless.

Don't do that instead,go to your brother or sister in love and speak to him about what is hurting you in love. This is called walking in the light. Will you walk in the light as opposed to speaking evil of others?

What people say about others, says a lot about them. I am repeating this more direct

It is an attitude of winners and victors.

You are complete in body and spirit. Wao!!!

✨A lot of people don’t make progress in life due to victim mentality. You can't make meaningful progress if you keep blaming others for your failure. Take responsibility for your life now and move on; some people and situations are just a one off occurence, skip them.
Our parents could have made mistakes in the past,remember even then they were trying to do their best and offered their best in their limitation. Stop blaming them. Your relatives,personal failures, employees, wife, husband etc.

Don't build a prison in your mind trying to please everyone again. You'll end up depressed. Seek to please God.

✨Every decision you make is a reflection of how you see yourself; It's a function of the value you place on yourself.
God created you in his very own image. The best image ever in the world. The best creation made of God. He said it is very good.
You are indeed very good.
✨Value yourself! Discover your self-worth. You're worthy than you think.
You are not meant to suppress your potential. You are meant to evolve to your best possible version and live your best.
*Action*
Lift up your hands to heavens and worship your creator. Pray he helps you live and be your best.
Commit your future,declare and decree that you will not be a victim but a victor. You are complete in body and spirit.
Get up and do your best today. The Lord be with you.
