‎In Genesis 32:22–32, Jacob spends the night alone before meeting his brother Esau. During the night, he wrestles with a mysterious man until dawn. Through this encounter, God changes Jacob’s life, gives him a new name “Israel,” and teaches important spiritual lessons about faith, persistence, and transformation.

:22-32
- ‎God meets us in difficult times
- Jacob was fearful and worry before meeting Esau.
- Jacob refused to let go until he received a blessing.
- Believers should not give up in prayer.
- ‎Struggles can transform/change us
- Jacob entered the night as Jacob and left as Israel.
- God can change a person’s identity and character.
- ‎Blessings may come through pain
- Jacob received a blessing but also a limp.
- Spiritual growth sometimes comes through suffering.
- ‎God wants honesty and surrender
- Jacob had to accept his name and who he was.
- We must come honestly before God.
- ‎An encounter with God changes lives
- Jacob never remained the same after Peniel.
- True encounters with God bring lasting transformation.
- Christians should trust God even during struggles.

‎The story of Jacob wrestling with God teaches that spiritual growth often comes through struggles, prayer, and complete dependence on God. Jacob’s encounter changed his identity and strengthened his faith. In the same way, believers today should trust God during difficult times, and allow Him to transform their lives.

Thank you who attended the fellowship and May God richly bless you!🤗🤗🤗

‎✝SUNDAY SERVICE 24TH MAY 2026✝

Theme: ,
‎Scripture: 12:7-14

‎ reminds us of the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the believers. Through the Holy Spirit, God unites different people into one family in Christ. In 1 Corinthians 12:7–14, Paul teaches that every believer has a gift from God, and all gifts should work together to build the Church in unity and love.

: Every Christian has a spiritual gift not for pride but to help others and strengthen the Church.
‎ : God gives different gifts and abilities to different people according to His purpose.
‎ : Strong faith and healing are gifts from God and all gifts come from the same Holy Spirit.
‎ : God works in many ways through His people, so we should respect every ministry and calling.
‎ : The Holy Spirit is the source of every spiritual gift and gives them according to God’s will.
‎ : The Church is one body in Christ even though believers are different.
: The Holy Spirit removes division and makes all believers one family in Christ.
‎ : Every member in the Church is important and has a role to play in God’s work.

‎🟣Respect every member in the Church.
‎‎🟣Use your gift to serve God and others.
‎‎🟣Stay united as believers despite differences.

‎Pentecost teaches us that the Holy Spirit unites believers and gives each person a purpose in the Church. We must love one another, respect each other’s gifts and work together as one people in Christ. The Holy Spirit does not divide the Church. He(Holy Spirit) unites us. When we work together in love, the Church becomes strong and God is glorified.

WEDNESDAY 20TH MAY 2026 FELLOWSHIP
THEME:
Text: Luke 1:8–20
‎ : Luke 1:18

‎Today we are learning about how faith can sometimes meet doubt. Zechariah was a servant of God, but when Angel Gabriel brought good news, he doubted because the situation looked impossible.

‎ : Even faithful people can doubt
‎Zechariah was serving in the temple.
‎He loved and served God.
‎But he still questioned the angel.
‎Lesson: Sometimes believers also struggle with doubt.

‎ : God is able to do impossible things
‎Zechariah and Elizabeth were old.
‎Humanly it was impossible to have a child.
‎But God’s power is not limited.
‎Lesson: We should trust God beyond human understanding.

‎ : Doubt can bring consequences
‎Zechariah became mute.
‎He could not speak until the promise was fulfilled.
‎Lesson: We should learn to believe God’s word.

‎ : God always fulfills His promises
‎John the Baptist was finally born.
‎God fulfilled exactly what He promised.
‎Lesson: God never fails His people.

‎1. ’s ?
‎He doubted and asked how it could happen because they were old.

‎2. ?
‎It showed fear and lack of full faith in God’s promise.

‎3. ?
‎- God can do impossible things.
‎- Believers should trust God.
‎- Doubt should not overcome faith.
‎- God keeps His promises.

‎Even when situations look impossible, we should continue trusting God because His promises never fail.

‎Lord, help us to trust you fully and remove doubt from our hearts. Strengthen our faith every day. Amen.
