*Structured Imams and Amirats Assembly Uganda Inaugurates New Office & Launches SACCO Based on Islamic Banking**
Kampala, Uganda – Today, the Structured Imams and Amirats Assembly Uganda officially opened its new Imams & Amirats Office, a landmark event presided over by the President of the Republic of Uganda, represented by **Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga**, the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for East African Community Affairs. The function also marked the launch of a SACCO operating under the principles of Islamic banking, aimed at empowering members with Sharia-compliant financial services.
The Assembly expresses special appreciation to the following distinguished guests for their support and presence:
