Most Christians like this verse, but do they understand it?

Romans 8:1
[1]There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

Is there no condemnation coming for the people who sin (break God's law)?

The condemnation In this verse means death (which is a penalty of sin - breaking God's law)

So, if you're walking in sin (lawlessness), you'll suffer condemnation (which is the second death in the lake of fire), but if you repent (turn from sin), you'll live.

No condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus but live according to the spirit (in Romans 7:14 - God's law is spiritual), so according to the spirit is obeying spiritual things (God's word including his law)

If you're living according to the desires of your flesh (which are lawless acts), there is condemnation coming against you.

Repent now and live

Paul served/knew God's Law in his mind but the parts of his body were still breaking it. So, he cried, who shall save me from the body of sin or fleshly desires which are against God's law in my mind, so that I can obey in mind and in my body parts.

He didn't cry out saying, who shall save me from the law. For the law wasn't the problem. The problem was sin in his flesh.

Romans 7:25
[25]I thank Godโ€”through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.

Romans 7:24
[24]O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?

Why do many christians think that Jesus came to save them from God's law not sin? Is God's law sin?

What is sin according to the bible? Sin is lawlessness (1 John 3:4), BUT preachers continue to preach against God's law. Are they not promoting sin (lawlessness)?

Mark 7:18 (Did Jesus/Yeshua declare pork clean)

Good scripture but misinterpreted by many.

Disobedience (lawlessness/sin) comes from the heart.

GOD'S word says that pork is unclean, rejecting this scripture is sin/lawlessness, it comes from the heart, and so defiles man.

Again, the context of the scripture was not on unclean meats in Leviticus 11. Rather, it was on unclean food which becomes unclean by eating with unclean hands..

Pork is never food in scriptures.

Pharisees taught this Talmud tradition which stated that eating clean food like beef with unclean hands according to the Jewish elderly tradition would make the food unclean, and it would defile man.

So, it's this clean food (made unclean by tradition) that is declared clean not pork or other unclean meats in Leviticus 11.

If you follow the context closely by the help of the holy spirit, you'll come to this conclusion.

Shalom

Christ is the end of the law, what does it mean?

However, the word "end" used in this text is Greek "telos" and telos doesn't mean end as in stopping, abolishing or destroying but rather "aim" or "goal" And again it doesn't say "was" but rather "is"

So, Christ is the aim/goal (the telos) of the law. The purpose of the law is to lead to the goal (telos) and that telos is Christ (Messiah Yeshua)

That means, if you reject the law, you have rejected its telos (goal or aim or purpose) and that goal is Christ (life)

Do you want to reach or enter life (Christ/goal)?

If yes, Yeshua answers this saying; keep the law.
