Faith is not having the resources to do what God has called you to do, but still believing. Stop waiting on perfect conditions. Have faith & know that even though you can’t see it happening, God is making a way. Trust Him to do exactly what He said He would do. One of the attributes of my God that I love most is His great love for redemption. He delights in taking the broken and damaged and giving it new life. In fact, He seems to take special joy in resurrecting what we would consider the most unworthy.
Which means that no sin is beyond His healing. No spouse is too hard for Him to soften. No marriage is too ugly for Him to make beautiful.
And isn’t that worth shouting about? Isn’t this truth worth singing about? When I think of how much God loves to redeem it all—everything in our lives and hearts—it makes me want to cheer as if I were in a stadium with thousands on their feet, arms raised in victory. But it also makes me want to bow in worship. That God would redeem me, one so unworthy, so broken, so full of weakness and propensity to sin, is truly overwhelming. No wonder those in the Bible who literally saw visions of God fell flat on their faces. When we see Him as He is, we are left awed and speechless.”
