Night Prayer
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father,
I thank You for the gift of this day.
For the blessings, the joys, and even the challenges
that drew me closer to You.
Forgive me, Lord,
for the times I have failed in love,
for moments of impatience, selfishness, or neglect.
Wash me clean in Your mercy.
Jesus, my Savior,
I place into Your Sacred Heart all my worries,
my loved ones, and the world’s needs.
Guard me through this night with Your peace.
Holy Spirit,
rest within me and renew my strength,
that I may rise tomorrow ready to do Your will.
Mary, my Mother,
cover me with your mantle of protection,
and lead me always closer to your Son.
Angel of God, my guardian dear,
watch over me as I sleep.
Into Your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit.
Amen.
