Our eldest son was diagnosed with a form of autism called High-Function Asperger’s when he was 11. Acts 27. Read it all

Topic: All will survive.

I think we all sense that we’re not ever returning to the normal of, say, December 2019. We’ll remember these days as a defining turning point when beloved friends and relatives suffered and others recovered, when business dreams died and others were born, when families grew distant and others grew tighter than ever before.
At this point in the quarantine, we’d be foolish to make any cocksure predictions about the aftermath of covid-19. We don’t even know if the quarantine will lift in June 2020 or December or anytime in between. All our hope is God.

So how can we know what God’s doing? Listen to him.

Acts 27:20.
What do you do when all hope is gone?
Most people commit su***de, others abdicate from responsibility etc. As a christian what do you do?

You trust in the Lord the giver of life and hope!

Acts 27:22-24
After the perils that Paul and his fellow prisoners faced, God sent his angel and promised that all will survive.

Brethren we will survive the storms of 2020. Covid-19 is just the mother storm for 2020 but there will be the aftermath storms but we will overcome all. Begin to think how to overcome the rest through prayer and planning.

We have the promise from the beginning of the year that he'll deliver us. Now we know what kind of deliverance He meant.

Thank God for family.
We have been drawn closer to families with fewer members.
We have learnt that nuclear family is an essential defense and refuge. These are the only people you trust to infect you.

Love will deepen in the long run where absence would sooner make the heart grow fonder.

The cultural narrative, however, will hail the family as the place of first affection and last defense that God has given us. Thank him for family. Whatever family means to you now! It could be friends you're hanging with etc.

Our God will work out this situation and turn our mourning into dancing. No worries!

Topic: Peace of God.

John 14:27.
Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

His will as he was about to die had only one promise; PEACE I leave with you! Not houses, money, cattle, land and the like as we know them.

The peace from the world comes from such perishable earthly riches and they offer temporary external peace!

The peace that Christ gives brings internal joy that even when you lack all earthly riches you're still smiling! Hallelujah! Amen.

This season there is a great need for many of us to experience peace in our souls.

Our lives are filled with anxiety, fear and uncertainty. Our minds are filled with unclear activities, days are stressful and nights rarely bring rest!
Our future is threatened by what is happening in the world, the media is scaring with no much hope.
The question this morning is in all of the business of life: are you experiencing the peace of God?
At this time we need the refreshing reality of the promise of peace.

The devil is mad when you discover this peace, he gets crashed and he cannot control you whatsoever. Wow!
Romans 16:20

Isaiah 9:6 "... His the Prince of Peace!"

Joy, peace and hope are to the soul as what air, food and drink are to the body. Without both we shrivel and die spiritually and physically.
May the Lord provide both for all of us starting right now.

Pray for His peace to cover you from the inside out and for your family, community, nation and the world at large.

Phil 4:6-7.

May the Lord grant you the renewed sense of peace that comes from his presence so that this peace renews and refreshes your spirits through the worship of Jesus.
May his peace fills your hearts to the overflowing.
