Glory to God!
Today, 143 of our brothers have received presidential pardon—a powerful reminder that grace, second chances, and new beginnings are real.
To those returning home:
The world is watching with hope.
Walk boldly. Live wisely.
Show your families, your communities, and the whole nation that transformation is possible.
May this be the start of a beautiful testimony of renewal.

**We thank God!**
The President of Uganda has granted pardon to 143 prisoners, offering them a new beginning and a fresh opportunity for restoration.
To our brothers who have been released: the world is watching with hope. This is your moment to demonstrate your strength, your growth, and your ability to reintegrate into society with dignity, purpose, and responsibility.
May you walk this new chapter with courage. May your communities welcome you with grace. And may God guide every step of your journey toward rebuilding your lives.

WHAT TO DO IF YOU’RE SERVED COURT PAPERS AND DON’T HAVE A LAWYER YET?
First of all, relax. A court paper is not a death sentence.
It simply means a case has been filed, and your name is involved.
Step 1:
Read it carefully. You’ll see who sued you, why, and when you’re required to appear in court.
Step 2:
Don’t tear it, don’t hide it, and don’t ignore it. Acknowledge that you’ve received it — that paper is now your responsibility.
Step 3:
Look for a lawyer immediately. Court papers have strict deadlines, and missing them can make you lose a case you could have won.
If you don’t have money for a lawyer, you can seek help from the Legal Aid Council.
Whatever you do, don’t pretend you didn’t receive the paper. That’s how many people lose cases without ever showing up in court.
The truth is, a court paper is like a utility bill — ignoring it won’t make it go away.

Meet Margaret Nafula & Her Daughter Bestie

Margaret’s story is one of pain, resilience, and hope.

She gave birth to her only child, Bestie, while in prison. When she was released, no relative was willing to receive her back. With nowhere to go, she found a small space in a swamp and built a makeshift structure where she and her little girl tried to survive.

By God’s grace, New Chapter Africa Foundation found Margaret and Bestie and welcomed them into our home in Mbugu. Today, they are safe—but their journey is only beginning.

👉 Margaret dreams of becoming a farmer so she can provide for Bestie and live with dignity.
👉 She needs a sponsor who will walk with her by supporting training, mentorship, and equipping her with farming tools and skills.

This is more than charity—it’s about restoring hope, dignity, and a future for a mother and her child.

💜 Will you stand with Margaret & Bestie?
Your support can change their story forever.

EASTER SUNDAY SERVICE FOR SENTEMA PRISON INMATES

Matthew 28:1–6
"Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; he has risen, just as he said."
“He Got Up – And So Can You!”
1. The Resurrection Means Your Story Isn’t Over
Jesus rose from death—proving that nothing is too broken for God to restore.
2. You May Be Locked Up, But You’re Not Locked Out of God’s Love
God sees you. He hasn’t given up on you. He walks into prison cells with resurrection power.
3. You Can Get Up Too
Get up from guilt.
Get up from shame.
Get up from fear.
Get up from your past.
Rise into new life—because He lives, you can live too.

Prayer:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for me. I believe You rose again. Come into my heart, forgive me, and make me new. I want to rise with You today. Amen.”

Song: Amazing grace

Remember, education is the key that can open doors to a brighter future, no matter where you are. Your current situation doesn't define your potential. Each exam you take is a step toward personal growth and transformation. By choosing to learn, you are choosing hope, and through hard work, you can unlock new possibilities for yourself. Keep believing in your capacity for change, and don’t give up. Every small effort today will build the foundation for your tomorrow.

Prayer:
Lord, we ask for your strength and guidance for those taking exams in prison. Grant them clarity of mind, focus, and peace in their hearts as they face this challenge. May they find the determination to persevere, and may their efforts be blessed with success. Help them to see that education is a path to redemption and new opportunities. Fill them with hope and the courage to pursue their goals despite their circumstances. Amen.

Keep striving, and know that each step forward brings you closer to a new beginning.
