Living a Life of Purpose
Introduction
Many young people live without direction, following friends, trends, or pressure. But God did not create the youth by mistake. Every young person was created with purpose, value, and a divine assignment.
1. God Has a Purpose for Every Youth
Purpose is God’s plan for your life.
Before you were born, God already knew you and had a plan for you (Jeremiah 1:5).
👉 You are not too young to matter.
👉 You are not useless.
👉 You are not forgotten.
2. Youth Is the Best Time to Discover Purpose
The Bible says, “Remember your Creator in the days of your youth” (Ecclesiastes 12:1).
Youth is the season to:
Know God
Build character
Discover gifts and talents
Make right decisions
What you choose now shapes your future.
3. Purpose Requires Discipline and Obedience
A purposeful youth does not live anyhow. Paul told Timothy to be an example in:
Speech
Conduct
Love
Faith
Purity (1 Timothy 4:12)
Purpose grows where discipline is practiced.
4. Purposeful Youth Impact Their Generation
God uses youth to bring change:
David was young but defeated Goliath
Joseph was young but saved a nation
Esther was young and saved her people
God is looking for young people who will stand for Him in this generation.
Conclusion
You were created on purpose, with purpose, and for a purpose.
Do not waste your youth. Offer your life to God, and He will guide you into your destiny.
Closing Prayer
“Lord, help us to live purposeful lives. Guide our steps, strengthen our faith, and use us to impact our generation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
