*KALANGALA STRATIFIED EVANGELISM GOSPEL MINISTERS MEETING REPORT*

*Attendance:*
A total of 62 Pastors and Missionaries working in Ssese Islands.

*Church Organizations And Ministries Represented.*
34 Church organizations and Ministries.

*Vision.*
To reach ALL the 43 habited Ssese Islands in Kalangala Districts with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ by the year 2030 alongside with social development projects. Such as establishing basic health facilities (clinics), nursery & Primary schools.

*Communication From the vision bearer / Director General Bishop Gichuru Jeremy about Stratified Evangelism.*

The Bishop explained how Stratified Evangelism model works. He said that Stratified model is conducted by holding layers of events of outreach simultaneously in different locations. A biblical Principle that was very effective and was used by the early Church who within a period of 2 years the whole Asia minor was reached with the Gospel.
The Acts 19:10
" And this continued by the space of two years; so that all they which dwelled in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks."
It will involve sending small different teams to different places selected. For example Schools, Hospitals, Prisons, Higher Institutions, Markets, Trading Centres, Door to Door at the same time.

*Agenda Discussed:-*

*1.* Second Kalangala stratified evangelism mission proposed to take place this year 2024 in June 4th - 11th 2024 in 3 different unreached islands with the gospel. (Those 3 islands that our research department brought to our attention do not have any Church, health facilities or schools.)
- We shall Plant one Church in each island, build structure for Discipleship meetings and equip them with the basic facilities. Eg. Chairs, solar panels for light and sound equipments in all the 3 earmarked Islands, Namely:- Kikwiri, Kyeserwa, Butulume.

*2.* The Mission was suggested to take 6 days excluding arrivals and departures

*3.* Buying Mobile Tents for Evangelistic Meetings and accommodations for the Pioneer Mission Teams who will be carrying on with the work of church planting Evangelism and development projects.

*4.* Opening a joint account as soon as possible.

*5.* Kalangala Stratified Evangelism Vision 2030 and beyond to be registered as LOCAL Independent organization. (As a Company and NGO according to the Government of Uganda governing laws)

*6.* The registered officials will be required to have Uganda National ID Cards.

*7.* Later plant churches in all villages and landing sites in all 43 islands in Ssese and hand-over to willing ministries which are able to manage

*8.* Help Construct temporary church structures to all newly planted churches

*9.* It has been suggested that Kalangala Stratified Evangelism Pastors Association should be meeting every 2nd Saturday of the month for fellowship and planning of the future development (this proposal will be further discussed and agreed upon in the next meeting.

*10.* Every church ministry to contribute a monthly subscription according to their abilities to run the association.
*11.* All willing Pastors and other ministers to be offered IN SERVICE TRAINING at GJET International school of ministries, Namungoona Kampala, Uganda.
*12.* Provide training programs for Discipleship and income generating projects in order to establish self-supporting churches and projects

*Pastors And Missionaries Resolutions On Tuesday 23rd January 2024*
All the missionaries and several Pastors who attended the meeting got an opportunity to speak and endorsed the vision and accepted to adopt all the suggestions concerning VISION 2030 AND BEYOND.

However, there were some concerns that the number of days slated for Stratified Evangelism June Mission 2024 were too many and some Pastors proposed that the number of working days be reduced to 3 or 4 instead of 6.

By the show of raising their hands all the 62 delegates from 34 church and ministry organizations unanimously endorsed the vision and adopted all the proposals made for VISION 2030 AND BEYOND.

Even though there were questions concerning Butulume Island because it is a forest reserve and also past challenges encountered by various ministries on that Island, but ALL the meeting participants decided to forget the past experiences and move forward in our renewed vision.
It was encouraging that most of the missionaries and some pastors had a calling for evangelism on these Islands. Therefore, the challenges would not deter them from progressing with the work of God.

*CONSULTATION MEETING WITH A FEW TOP LEADERSHIP OF KALANGALA STRATIFIED EVANGELISM AND SOCIAL PROJECTS VISION 2030 AND BEYOND*

On Tuesday the 24th January, a smaller section of Kalangala Stratified Evangelism top leadership met and discussed on who to appoint as the Patron of the department of Projects. It was suggested and agreed upon that we appoint Mr. Ssebuwufu Hannington as the Patron of the Department of projects. Mr Hannington is born again and he is the Deputy District Intelligent Security Officer. After Bishop Gichuru requested Mr. Ssebuwufu Hannington to be the Patron of the Project, Mr Ssebuwufu was happy and he accepted to take that responsibility.

It was suggested and agreed upon also we appoint Mr. Ssebunya Henry to deputize him. Mr Henry Ssebunya is also a born again Christian and he is the Deputy Resident District commissioner.

Bishop Gichuru Jeremy the Director General of Stratified Evangelism was given the responsibility to consult the two senior Government officers to consider accepting the new roles of appointments.

During our luncheon last year, they all committed to work with us.

It is confirmed that Mr. Ssebuwufu Hannington has been contacted and he has accepted to be the patron of the department for projects.

*THE NEXT MEETING*
It was suggested and agreed upon that the next planning meeting will be held on Thursday the 22nd February 2024 at Quality Discipleship Church, Kalangala from 10.00 am - 3.00 pm.

Our vision bearer Bishop Gichuru Jeremy will further in his presentation explain clearly the mode of Evangelism operations in the 3 islands simultaneously. Example, The events that will be taking place. How the discipleship training will be conducted during and after the June 2024 Mission. How the new planted Churches will be sustained. What will be the role of the Stratified Evangelism organization and the church ministries that will be handed over the newly planted churches. How to give assurance to the Pastors and missionaries that the new churches and other development projects will not fail.

While the preparations of June Mission 2024 are in progress and after, what will be the other common activities in all islands where the members of Stratified Evangelism Vision 2030 and beyond will be. The strategies that will be adopted by all the members to strengthen and expand their Ministries etc.

*THE SECRET CONCERNING THE POWER OF PRAYER AND FASTING*

*Matthew 17:19-21*
*19* Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, *"WHY COULD WE NOT CAST IT OUT?”*
*20* So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will SAY to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and *NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU.*
*21* However, *THIS KIND DOES NOT GO OUT EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING.”*

*NOTE:*
✒️ The question of the Disciples:- *WHY?*
✒️ The answer of Jesus: to have faith in God. It doesn't matter how little it is.
✒️ Just speak to any situation ( not PRAY but SPEAK)

*CAUTION FROM JESUS*
🔖 Verse 21 However, THIS KIND DOES NOT GO OUT EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING.”

🔖 Why this KIND?
* Because fasting is not compelling, forcing or manipulating God to do what He is not WILLING TO DO.
* Fasting is not torturing your self to provoke God to sympathize with you because of your suffering.
* Fasting is about HUMBLING yourself through self examination.

*The psalmist said:*
Psalms 35:13 But as for me, when they were sick,
My clothing was sackcloth;
I humbled myself with fasting; And my prayer would return to my own heart.

*DEVIL ACCUSER OF BRETHREN*
Revelation 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the ACCUSER of our brethren, who accused them before our God DAY and NIGHT, has been cast down.

*OBSERVATIONS*
🖊️ The devil (the accuser of brethren) will be reluctant to OBEY your command when you have issues of bad character in your life that needs to be sorted out through self examination when you are humbling yourself through PRAYER of repentance FASTING .

🖊️ Fasting is time for reflection into you own life asking God to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness after which you can speak (not pray) to situation in confidence and authority and SATAN will leave in the name of Jesus Christ.

*THE MOST PERSISTENT SIN IN OUR LIVES IS PRIDE AND DISOBEDIENCE AGAINST GOD*
It's very easy to offend someone if you tell him that he is PROUD OR DISOBEDIENT.
Satan lost his place in heaven because of PRIDE AND DISOBEDIENCE

*Ezekiel 28:15 & 17*
*15* You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created,
*17* “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty;
You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;
I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you....

*QUESTION?*
Who are these Kings?- We know that Jesus is the King of Kings. And if Jesus is the King of Kings, and we Know that Jesus Christ is our King, then it's obvious that *We are the Kings to gaze at Satan and have authority over him.*

*THE NEED TO EXAMINE OURSELVES WHEN HUMBLING OURSELVES THROUGH FASTING*
2 Corinthians 13:5
"Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified"
- We don't need to be disqualified! Do we?

*YARDSTICK TO MEASURE PRIDE AND DISOBEDIENCE IN OUR HEARTS*

PRIDE is dealt with when we are humbling ourselves through PRAYERS AND FASTING:-

✒️ Whenever we find it difficult to apologize to those we have wronged or even perceived to have wronged.
✒️ When we often feel and show others that we are always right or better.
✒️ When we allow ourselves to often or always see others from the negative point of view.
✒️ When we treat others especially those below us or our workers with disrespect and unfairly
✒️When we feel bad when we see others progressing and we are not.
✒️ When we find it difficult to celebrate others, then we should understand that we are jealousy, an issue to deal with.
✒️ When we find it difficult to share what we have with the needy.

*RIGHT AND WRONG FASTING*

Fasting That Pleases God.

*Isaiah 58:1- 11*

*1* “Cry aloud, spare not;
Lift up your voice like a trumpet;
Tell My people their transgression,
And the house of Jacob their sins.
*2* Yet they seek Me daily,
And delight to know My ways,
As a nation that did righteousness,
And did not forsake the ordinance of their God.
They ask of Me the ordinances of justice;
They take delight in approaching God.
*3* ‘Why have we fasted,’ they say, ‘and You have not seen?
Why have we afflicted our souls, and You take no notice?’
“In fact, in the day of your fast you find pleasure,
And exploit all your laborers.
*4* Indeed you fast for strife and debate,
And to strike with the fist of wickedness.
You will not fast as you do this day,
To make your voice heard on high.
*5* Is it a fast that I have chosen,
A day for a man to afflict his soul?
Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush, And to spread out sackcloth and ashes?
Would you call this a fast, And an acceptable day to the Lord?

*CONCLUSIONS*

Please Note:
- From these scriptures the first issue in the opening deals with the issue of Sins Followed by PRIDE.
- You notice wrong fasting when people are complaining that God is not noticing when they have fasted. Fasting is not for show.
- It's for self searching, examination and repentance.
- It's for having compassion and sharing with the needy.
Then after having the right attitude in your fasting, the devil has nothing to accuse you of , and you can speak in authority to a situation and nothing will be impossible to you as Jesus said.

Bwetusaba, mbagirawo Katonda atwanuukula okuyita mu bamalayika nga bwekyali ku Danyeri.

*The Kingdom Of Satan*

Matthew 12:26
"If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then will his kingdom stand?"

Jesus clearly acknowledged that the Kingdom of Satan exists, it's united and still standing in operation when you read between the lines.

*Who Is Satan?*
Satan is a fallen angel who rebelled against God and was thrown out of Heaven (the dwelling place of God and Angels).

*Revelation 12:7-9*
"*7*. And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,
*8* but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer.
*9* So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

It is believed through connection of several scriptures that about one third of the fallen angels joined Satan who was very beautiful and talented in worship. Satan is not ugly and black as he is painted.

*14* I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’
*15* Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol,
To the lowest depths of the Pit."

*NOTE:* Satan was cast down on earth.
He said in his heart as a rebel, I will ascend in HEAVEN.

*To Do What?*
As a rebel, to establish a parallel Kingdom to compete with God.

He couldn't establish his kingdom on earth where he was cast because earth was already occupied by man through the authority of God. But Satan planned to establish his Kingdom in heaven and dominate earth as a COLONY from there.
*Now the big question is this.* Which heaven is this? Certainly not the heaven of the administration of the Kingdom of God and Angels. This means there are more than one heavens.

*Paul acknowledges this when he testified how he was taken to the third heaven.*
2 Corinthians 12:2 ....such a one was caught up to the third heaven.

*Question:* Where is this Kingdom of Satan located?.

Ephesians 6:12
"For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the *HEAVENLY* places.

According to the above scripture, we now know that the Kingdom of Satan is established in one of the heavens

*How Many Heavens Exist?*

Ephesians 4:10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.

This shows that the Kingdom of God is established above all the heavens and the Kingdom of Satan is located below but above the earth.

- It seems there are three heavens according to Paul
- Moslems believe in seven heavens which are not indicated in our Holy bible.

*Angel Gabriel Assisted By Angel Michael*
Angel Gabriel was resisted in the kingdom of Satan, but overcame and brought the answer to Daniel after 3 weeks.

*Daniel 10:11 - 14*
*11* And he said to me, “O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.” While he was speaking this word to me, I stood trembling.
*12* Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words.
*13* But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.
*14* Now I have come to make you understand what will happen to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come.”

*Please note:-*

The primary purpose why God created *MAN* was to worship Him (God) and serve Him here on earth where he was located and have dominion. And for this reason, God does not permit any man to share his glory or to worship any other god.

God completed his work of creation after six days and the seventh one He rested. God stopped the creation and *mandated man to continue the creation using Faith through speaking like his father (God).*
Believers are permitted to use the name of Jesus to create.
*Job 22:28* "You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you;...."
*We know it's only kings with Kingdom who can make a decree.* *We Know that Jesus is the King of kings. We are the kings who express authority in the name of the King of kings Jesus Christ.* *We are given power and authority by the King of kings.*

Therefore, we shouldn't allow Satan to dominate the earth because he is not authorized to do so. We should only allow the Kingdom of God to come on earth as it is in heaven -
Matthew 6:10

*Good Angels*
The primary purpose of the creation of angels is to worship God and serve Man on earth.

*Fallen Angels*
The fallen angels led by Lucifer after rebellion decided to establish a parallel Kingdom in the HEAVENLY which was not occupied so that he can take the glory of God and dominate the earth through deception and oppression. The junior fallen angels who are now demons became the messengers of Satan through stealing, destruction and killing.
Satan is aware of our power and authority. Satan has also power to do all kinds of destruction even with abilities to perform miracles but he has no AUTHORITY to determine our destiny.

*Our victory is sure when we know the TRUTH and apply it against SATAN.* *Jesus has promised to be with us always because he is IMMANUEL.*

*Conclusions*

While the will of God is to establish His Kingdom of heaven in corporation with man on earth, the intentions of Satan is to establish his kingdom on earth through DOMINATION of every kind of bo***ge and oppression.

Jesus made it clear to the church that *whatever we bind here on earth, it will be bound in Heaven* ( at the Kingdom of Satan) and *whatever we lose here on earth, it will be loosed in HEAVEN* - Matthew 18:18.

When we pray, God hears that very moment or first day we prayed and sends answers through his Angels like it was in the case of Daniel to us. However the delay of our answer to our prayers could be made through the opposition of Satan in the HEAVENLY. *There fore we must resist Satan as long as he persists to block the answer to our prayers in the name of Jesus Christ.*

*LAZINESS IS THE GREATEST ENEMY OF OUR PROGRESS AND ATTRACTS POVERTY IN OUR LIVES*

MESSAGE:- Preached at Quality Discipleship Church Namungoona, Kampala, Uganda at 1st and 2nd services on Sunday the October 22nd, 2023

According to the English Dictionary: *Laziness is the quality of being unwilling to WORK or use ENERGY.*

UNWILLING is the opposite of WILLING.

Proverbs 6:6 - 11
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7 Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8 Provides her meat in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.
9 How long will you sleep, O sluggard? when will you arise out of your sleep?
10 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11 So shall your POVERTY come as one that travels, and your WANT as an armed man.

*POVERTY IS IN MANY FORMS*
- It can be lack of finance
- Lack of good health
- Lack of ideas
- Lack of spiritual blessings
- Lack of knowledge etc.

*HOW GOD OPERATES*
- God operates in Principles according to his word.
- The greatest privilege that God has given us is FREE WILL of choice.
- He cannot go against our WILL.

*LAZINESS*
- Laziness is an evil spirit that hides behind UNWILLINGNESS to work or use energy
- Laziness is an evil spirit that hides behind excuses.
- Laziness is a spirit that hides behind procrastination.

*IN PHYSICS*
WORK = Energy x distance.

*TWO TYPES OF ENERGY*

*KINETIC ENERGY:-* The energy the Body posses while in motion.
*IMPORTANT:* For us to overcome the consequences of LAZINESS, we must put our bodies in motion in order to avert different categories of poverty in our lives without compromising with how we feel.
One of the most difficult things to do on a daily or regular basis for many people is to do physical exercise. We all know it's benefits, how it improves our health. Lazy people find it difficult to do it because it requires much discipline. Physical exercise is best done in the morning when the sleep is the sweetest.
Successful business people, people who want to gain knowledge through reading or committed Christians who want to do their devotion in prayer or bible study is best done in the morning when the sleep is the sweetest. Professional athletes and farmers do their best in the morning. Lazy people find it very difficult to wake up in the morning even though they know the benefits of doing so.
Laziness is addictive. Every bad habit must be replaced with new good habit if one has to break the old one.

*POTENTIAL ENERGY:-* Energy the Body posses while not in motion.
*NOTE:* Every person has potential energy to avert different categories of poverty in our lives. Unused potential energy is good for nothing. Many people die with their unfulfilled dreams because of laziness yet they have unused potential energy. The late Dr Monroe Myles said "The wealthiest place on earth is cemetery because all best unfulfilled dreams and ideas are buried there"

*CATEGORIES OF UNWILLINGNESS*

1️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO WORK:-* We don't work because we are FEELING to work, we work because that is what we are supposed to do inorder to achieve progress as well as averting poverty. Not just to work as a duty but strategically and with purpose. Time management and aiming at Quality work is essential and will give us desired results. Wasting time because of how you FEEL is waste of your life.

2️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO ADOPT THE MIND OF GOD* Isaiah 55:8 "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, said the LORD."
Anything that we do should always align with God's way of thinking since we shall need his help at every step.

3️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO IDENTIFY AND ADMIT OUR WEAKNESS:-* Until we are ready to identify, admit, ready to improve and correct our weakness, we cannot progress to achieve our desired results. Self justifications and shifting blame with all sorts of excuses don't solve any problem or add any value at all. It always brings retrogression instead of progress.

4️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO LEARN:-* If you do one thing in the same way always, you will always get the same results. There is no end of learning. The moment you stop learning, that's when you stop developing. You become stagnant for a while and later you start retrogressing.

5️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO OBEY:-* In every thing that we do, there are laws and regulations that govern our situation if we have to get the desired results. There are God's laws, natural laws, scientific laws, social laws etc. There are always established and proven ways on how to do things and how they work. Therefore, it is always important to observe and be obedient to the laws that govern your situation, be it spiritual or things concerning our everyday life.

6️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO LISTEN:-* Listening from knowledgeable people will always work for our advantage and will hasten our progress.

7️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS:-* This is very crucial. Every manufacturer including our almighty God has provided operational manual. The first instructions will advise you to read carefully the instructions before you operate your gudget. Failures to follow instructions will always lead you to getting wrong in whatever you do.
1 Samuel 15:23 "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected you from being king."
In many cases, we fail to get our desired results because of refusing to follow instructions. In everything, there is a way it's done and works. Ignoring instructions will always be a recipe for disaster.
One day I boiled milk with my new Electric Kettle before reading the instructions from the manufacturer's manual and I ended up destroying it.

8️⃣ *UNWILLINGNESS TO CHANGE OUR NEGATIVE ATTITUDE:-* Negative attitude in life is like driving a car with flat tires. Unless you change the punctured tire, you can never reach your destination. Attitude in most cases determines your destination.

*EXAMPLES*

_A MAN WITH AN INFIRMITY FOR 38 YEARS_
John 5:5 - 9
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he said to him, WILL you be made whole?
7 The weak man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steps down before me.
8 Jesus said to him, Rise, take up your bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

*OBSERVATION*
- Jesus Christ could clearly see the problem of that man, but couldn't heal him without his WILLINGNESS to OBEY.
- The main problem of this man was waiting for someone else to carry him yet he had abilities to initiate the process.

*IF YOU ARE WILLING AND OBEDIENT*
Isaiah 1:19 & 20
19 If you be WILLING and OBEDIENT, you shall eat the good of the land:
20 But if you REFUSE and REBEL, you shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.

*CONCLUSION*
- We can achieve almost anything that we desire according to our needs if we are WILLING to comply with the word of God or the laid and proven workable methods of doing things.
Blaming the devil or people for our failures, waiting people or God to intervene in our situations cannot solve our problems, we must be willing to act.
All human being are created in the image and likeness of God.
Genesis 1:27 "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
Therefore, everyone has abilities to do great things for our self development and our communities.

*REVIVAL CONTINUES EVEN IN THE 3RD WEEK AFTER KALANGALA STRATIFIED EVANGELISM MISSION 2023.*

During the first service where I am seen in white T-shirt, 2 people committed their lives to Jesus.

During the second service, also two people committed their lives to Jesus while the third one was the one who gave his life to Jesus when I witnessed to him, but last Sunday he felt to rededicate his life again to Jesus. We give all the glory to God.
