We had powerful and productive day at Bukamba sub-county offices as we gathered with the local community! Our program officers spoke passionately about the power of education, the risks of missing out on schooling, and the vital importance of protecting our children. As well as we shed light on maternal health and nutrition, after which we handed out essential birth kits and food supplements to the pregnant women who joined us.

Our team brought health education and legal advocacy under one roof at Nawampiti Health Centre III. While our interns guided mothers through key pregnancy signs, we also shed light on Access to Justice because every mother deserves health, dignity, and justice.

Decision-making is still a major challenge for many young people. That’s why during our visit to St. Philip's Nawaikoke College, we placed strong emphasis on it, because a single wrong decision can shatter a dream and dictate how emotions manifest.

Our programs officers took the students through the practical insights on how to master their emotions rather than letting their emotions master them.

One step at a time, from one community to another, we are empowering a new wave of mentally strong, sound young leaders.

We had a wonderful engagement with the mothers and expecting mothers at Nawaikoke Health Centre III, discussing the importance of educating their children and using kind words to build their self-esteem.

We concluded by taking the expectant mothers through the danger signs during pregnancy, self-care practices, and distributing birthing kits for their delivery.

This campaign continues to highlight the severe gaps and lack of essential health products during pregnancy and labor, and we call upon you to be part of the change by donating, volunteering, supporting, or partnering with us.

We had a productive day deworming lower primary pupils, holding open conversations around puberty, and introducing our Access to Justice program to these incredible young learners.
