Living for God

Suffering for Being a Christian

A Rebellious Nation
2 Hear me, you heavens! Listen, earth!
For the Lord has spoken:
“I reared children and brought them up, but they have rebelled against me.
3 The ox knows its master, the donkey its owner’s manger,but Israel does not know,
my people do not understand.”

4 Woe to the sinful nation,a people whose guilt is great,a brood of evildoers,children given to corruption!
They have forsaken the Lord;they have spurned the Holy One of Israel
and turned their backs on him.

5 Why should you be beaten anymore? Why do you persist in rebellion?
Your whole head is injured, your whole heart afflicted.
6 From the sole of your foot to the top of your head
there is no soundness
only wounds and welts
and open sores,
not cleansed or bandaged or soothed with olive oil.

New Moons, Sabbaths and convocations

They have become a burden to me; I am weary of bearing them.

even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening.

Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.

and remove all your impurities.
26 I will restore your leaders as in days of old,
your rulers as at the beginning.
Afterward you will be called the City of Righteousness,
the Faithful City.”

27 Zion will be delivered with justice,
her penitent ones with righteousness.
28 But rebels and sinners will both be broken,
and those who forsake the Lord will perish.

29 “You will be ashamed because of the sacred oaks in which you have delighted;
you will be disgraced because of the gardens
that you have chosen.
30 You will be like an oak with fading leaves, like a garden without water.
31 The mighty man will become tinder
and his work a spark;
both will burn together,

Dear beloved of the Lord

There are only 2 days left until God's Feast of Pentecost!

We are in one of God's supernatural, divine appointments. This is one of The Lord's feasts, a 'Moed', which means a set or an appointed time that God on his own calendar set up for you!

God declares in Deuteronomy 16:16-17: “Three times a year, during my Feasts, do not stand before me empty-handed, but all are to give as he is able, according to how God has blessed you.”

This is your Supernatural Moment. Your obedience to His Word leads to restoration and authority “like a rushing mighty wind…” (Acts 2).

This is your season of SUDDENLY!
God gave a divine instruction for the 120 who obeyed, tarried in the Upper Room, and received a divine reward, “the Day of Pentecost!” NOW, God has a word for YOU to release INCREASE, MULTIPLICATION, and MIRACLES right now in our lives!

Understanding God’s timing is key to activating His greatest blessings in your life! A season means a “set time”. When you do not discern the shift of a season, you will lack in some area of your life! It’s possible to be in a season that you’re not “in the flow”, not cooperating with and therefore you are EXPERIENCING scarcity! THIS WILL CHANGE WITH YOUR OBEDIENCE!

God ordained and COMMANDED His people to observe three annual festivals- Passover, Pentecost, and The Day of Atonement/Tabernacles-

“These are the appointed times of the LORD, holy convocations which you shall proclaim at the times appointed for them” (Lev 23:4).

"These are to be kept forever" (Lev 23:21).

May 28th is Pentecost Sunday, the Feast of Pentecost is a divine appointment with 2 main themes: REVELATION & HARVEST. The purpose, the presence, and the prosperity of God’s fruit in due season.
We are experiencing changes in our lives right now. GOD IS SHIFTING THINGS! This is common at this time… Don’t try to force anything happen this is a season where you are to “hold the hand of God”, let Him navigate and simply obey His voice. Why? Because He is bringing His best into your life! IT IS PENTECOST.

In the New Testament, this was borne out in Acts 2:1-36. Fifty days after Passover, the first church of the apostles and 120 disciples were gathered in unity and remembering all that God had done for them. In that unity, God gave them His commanded blessing, “even life forevermore” (Psalm 133:3), and they received the fresh wind of the Holy Spirit of blessing and empowerment.

Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting… POWER from heavenly places is getting ready to fill your house!

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit as a permanent Guide, Teacher, Seal of Salvation, and Comforter for believers (John 14:16-18). He also promised the Holy Spirit’s POWER:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

I don’t know what it is that God has given you as a dream, as a destiny, as a desire, but there’s more to it than just receiving it by knowledge and understanding.

You must activate it! But how? According to Deuteronomy 16:10, on Pentecost, “You shall celebrate the Feast of Weeks to the LORD your God with a tribute of a freewill offering of your hand, which you shall give just as the LORD your God blesses you.”

Everyone is to give their best offering unto God for Pentecost, honoring and establishing His presence and provision. The results of honoring Him on His divine appointments are miraculous! I believe God is ready to release blessings for you right NOW!

God has given us the gift of His Son Jesus Christ, He has given us the gift of His Word, and He has given us the person of the Holy Spirit to empower us and guide us.

Pentecost is God’s giving season!

It is important to recognize that God acts in major ways during His feast days. Expect a visitation from God! He is going to move at an appointed time!

Where do you need Him to move by faith in your life?
God’s appointed times are when He revealed Himself to people: in His Ten Commandments in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 with the children of Israel at Mt. Sinai; in Acts 2 in the upper room with the Holy Spirit, and more… This appointed time (Pentecost) is for you to carry out purpose in the earth. Seize the moment!

If you are desiring a change, ACTIVATE IT! The blessings of God pursue us, we don’t purse them when we are obedient. “All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God” Deuteronomy 28:2.

Elijah called down fire from heaven around a sacrifice… it always has to do with an act of faith! “Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.” James 2:17

God declares in Deuteronomy 16:16-17: “Three times a year, during my Feasts, do not stand before me empty-handed, but all are to give as he is able, according to how God has blessed you.”

It is about an act of faith!
