REPORT ON CHURCH DESTRUCTION CAUSED BY STRONG WINDS

Date: 14 June 2026

To: The Highest Church Leadership

Subject: Report on Damage Caused by Strong Winds

Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I would like to respectfully report that on 14 June 2026 afternoon after the Sunday service, our church was severely affected by a strong windstorm and heavy rain in Bentiu IDP Camp. The powerful winds blew away a large portion of the church roofing, leaving the building exposed and unsafe for normal worship activities.

The incident caused significant damage to the church structure and has greatly affected the congregation's ability to gather for worship, prayer, and other church programs from today until further notices.

By the grace of God, no injuries or loss of life were reported during the incident since it was after the service.

The church community is currently facing challenges due to the damage and lacks sufficient resources to restore the roof and repair the affected sections of the building.
Therefore, we humbly bring this matter to your attention and request your prayers, guidance, and any possible support toward the rehabilitation of the church.

We remain committed to serving the Lord despite these challenges and trust that God will provide through His people.
