We had a new training class for pastors and teachers open up in Jinja this month. So thankfully for all the support we have received over the years to make these classes in Kamuli, Kaliro, and Jinja happen. You have helped provide a valuable biblical education to hundreds of pastors and teachers over the years!

This past week our main Sonrise church went out to the village of Busanu to plant our 16th church. We spent the week doing evangelism house to house, locating the new land, praying over the pastor, and showing the Jesus film. Thank you to everyone from the church who volunteered their time to pour the love of Jesus into the lives of those in that area. Thank you to the donors who gave to ensure a church plant could happen! To God be the Glory!

Thank you to Peace’s Hope for loving on our pastors! These are our church plant Pastors and melchezidek pastoral training teachers. They all received a bit of food and a chicken for their families this Christmas. Merry Christmas!!

This week, over 160 youth gathered at a secondary school near Jinja for the Sonrise Community Church Youth Camp. Running from Sunday afternoon to Friday of the 3rd week of December, the camp has already been life-changing for many.
