*John 10:10 (KJV);* The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

*THE LIFE OF CHRIST IN THE BELIEVER*

Oftentimes, I have heard people condemn preachers who do not preach about life s struggles and difficulties. They wonder why such men and women of God are not pointing Christians to reality .

Their idea of reality is the pain of daily living. While this may be true for those of this world, God has been deliberate on redefining our idea of reality as His children. In Colossians 3:3 (AMP), He says that your real life is hidden in Christ.

The Bible says that the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. It is not our responsibility to preach the works of the devil but to demonstrate to all men what Christ came to do.

Jesus came on the earth that He may reveal the heart of the Father. In doing so, He sought that no man perish, but that ALL may have eternal life.

Preaching Christ as anything other than a life-giver is evidence of a misconstrued understanding about the heart of the Father and the Person of Jesus Christ; this breaks the heart of the Father.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 9:12 that when Jesus went into the Holy of Holies, He secured a complete and everlasting redemption for the Church through the shedding of His own blood.

As Christians, we must be fully aware that the life we received after His blood was shed at Calvary gave us life in abundance and absolute freedom from any weapon of darkness.

This is why our preaching and ministry must demonstrate the life that we have in Christ Jesus. Every time we speak of Christ, it must be to show Him as a life-giver, not a condemner, not an angry judge and not He that takes away what He has given us every time we make Him angry.

When we tell people of their greatness in God, we are pointing them to the life in Christ; when we tell men that the power of Christ in them can heal the sick, cause the lame to

*Murmur not among yourselves*

Texts :-
Mark.9.33 - And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, *What was it that ye disputed among yourselves* by the way?

John.6.43 - Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, *Murmur not among yourselves.*

Connecting the a bove passages to the current situation, when the government added more 60 days of the lock down, there is none at all who must have not disagreed, argued, grambled, or has had unsatisfied complaint.
We should take note that the church is not completely burnt from fellowshiping.
The major purpose is to cut off people from gathering in large numbers in order to avoid or control the spread of Coronavirus / COVID 19 that had become very disastrous in this second wave.
As a Christian and a church, we should think deeply about today's passages;

Mark 9: 33 .... "What was it that ye disputed among yourselves ....."
John 6: 43 .... "Murmur not among yourselves"
Looking critically into the motives and some the things that are happening over some of the congregations, marriage introductions wedding and burials ceremonies, wouldn't Christians / churches think and analyze that the lock down extensions of the lock down could possibly be working for good so that negative motives about whether small or big congratulations, marriage introductions / weddings and burials and ceremonies should adjust and change the right motives.
Secondly could it be the time that the church should get back to the drawing board to on how strong and established is a small unit family fellowship as compared to the big congregation.
Where is more attention and effort put? To the small family unit or big unit. It is unfair to want to be over focused and concentrate in big congregations while abandoning the family unit.
In conclusion, the word of God says in 1Pet.2.5 [Come] and, like living stones, be yourselves built [into] a spiritual house, for a holy (d

TELLING OTHERS ABOUT OR WITNESSING JESUS CHRIST

Again telling others about or witnessing Jesus Christ is related to talking.
It is very important for one to start witnessing or telling others about Jesus Christ in the early Christian life, or when one has just got saved.

Andrew and Philip are a good example
TEXT John 1: 40-49.
One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother. He first found his own brother Simon, and said to him, “We have found the Messiah” ( which is translated, the Christ). And he brought him to Jesus. Now when Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which is translated, A Stone).

The following day Jesus wanted to go to Galilee, and He found Philip and said to him, “Follow Me.” Now Philip was from Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter. Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” And Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?”
Philip said to him, “Come and see."

Jesus saw Nathanael coming toward Him, and said of him, “Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no deceit!” Nathanael said to Him, “How do You know me?”
Jesus answered and said to him, “Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” Nathanael answered and said to Him, “Rabbi, You are the Son of God! You are the King of Israel!”

In the above passages two newly born again were able to witness, drew and won other souls to Christ.
Soul winning starts straight away as soon as one has given one's life to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.

As we said yesterday, In life a talking person is so important than a too much quiet person. When one fails to begin talking during the early life, then he or she will find it difficult to catch up effectively at the late stage of life.

Today as far as telling others about Christ is concerned. Many so called believers are so quiet than those doing the talking.

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION MORTAR 5

TELLING OTHERS ABOUT OR WITNESSING JESUS CHRIST

Remember all the topics that are covered as mortar are not systematically outlined as the spiritual foundation. Stones are as mentioned in Heb 6:1-3.;

They were selected to reflect the foundational topics as mortar in order to merge the spiritual foundation stones.

Every mortar topic is related to psychological or practical act.
These acts are very necessary and important in one's life right from the initial birth time.

The related acts are as follows:
a) The foundation mortar 1;
âž–_The Word of God is related to feeding_
b) The foundation mortar 2
âž–Prayerfulness is related to breath
c) The foundation mortar 3
âž–Fellowship is related socialization
d) The foundation mortar 4
âž–Giving is related to generosity
e) The foundation mortar
âž–Telling others about Jesus Christ is related to talking.

f) The foundation mortar 6
âž–servant hood is related to a servants heart.

As we had slightly touched some earlier, feeding and breathtaking are very necessary right from child's birth so is the feeding on the word of God and praying. Although in the position 5, the next act is telling others about Christ / talking.

This is most pleasing stage because a child can now express self and can be understood. So is telling others about Christ or witnessing. It pleases God seeing his children witnessing the Good News

Rom.10.15 - And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!.

Then socialization, generosity and a servant's heart are equally vital for the child's foundation so that as one developes the stones in word, they get developed together with the above topics.

SPIRITUAL FOUNDATION STONE 4

THE LAYING ON OF HANDS

Importance of the laying of hands
Why the laying on of hands is important as a foundation stone is because as we saw in the previous post, the hand plays a big role in one's life.

Caution! Hands must not Hastily be laid upon one or should not hurry for hands to laid upon.

1 Timothy 5
[22]Do not be in a hurry in the laying on of hands [giving the sanction of the church by too hastily in reinstating expelled offenders or in ordination in questionable cases], nor share or participate in another man's sins; keep yourself pure.

By the hand it is possible to transfer or pass on any positive or negative force from the one laying on hands.
Just as God is no respector of persons

Acts 10:34
[34]And Peter opened his mouth and said: Most certainly and thoroughly I now perceive and understand that God shows no partiality and is no respecter of persons, so is the Devil. He doesn't fear to tempted or saw any strange seed of qiur habit to any one.

Irrespective of any title or position.
Matt.13.25 - But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

The tares that the enemy plant can result in any habit or weakness.
Such a habit if not dealt with most especially by a minister. It is said that when a minister with any particular outstanding habit lays hands upon persons, that habit is transferred to a person.

Because it's transferred as a seed, it takes a long time a long time to manifest. So in case such a person who the habit is transferred is not careful, after some time, definitely habit will manifeste.

The same applies to the person to whom the hands are laid . up on.
It doesn't matter whatever tittle one has. Not everyone that lays hands on others is totally free from some stronghold attachments.

Even Christ Himself did not lay hands on people anyhow.
Mark.6.5 - And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

*GIVING*

TOPIC; *Regular Sunday Offering* .

This is one’s free will offering as a gift to God as one comes to
worship God on the Sundays.
Just as one freely decides to buy a gift for someone on his or her special occasion such a wedding, birthday or graduation it is also important to take a gift to our Lord Jesus Christ every Sunday as we gather to celebrate and worship Him on the special day of His resurrection.

Jesus said He is the Lord of Sabbath. In stead of the focusing on the Sabbath just as a day, We focus on the Lord's day Sunday when He resurrected. Because of the impact of what happened on Sunday, every Sunday is important to be celebrated climaxing with a grand Sunday which is EASTER SUNDAY once every year.

Why a regular Sunday offering is important as a to our Lord Jesus Christ.

The wise men from East gave gifts to Jesus as they worshiped Him. Matt.2:11.

The Bible charges us not appear to the Lord empty handed. Ex.23:15.

A true hearted regular Sunday offering should be something of value not anything because one has just to fulfil that time of giving. 1Chron. 21:22—24
TOPIC: TITHE.
A tithe is a tenth of one’s every income given to God.
Lev 27;32
Deuteronomy 14:22-23
[22]You shall surely tithe all the yield of your seed produced by your field each year.
[23]And you shall eat before the Lord your God in the place in which He will cause His Name [and Presence] to dwell the tithe (tenth) of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and your flock, that you may learn [reverently] to fear the Lord your God always.

A habit of regular tithing can keep God at the top of our priority list and keep us in a proper perspective on every thing else we have.
Tithing teaches and reminds us that the Revenue ex
