On Sunday 10th May 2026, The Rt. Rev. Prof. Grace Lubaale, Bishop of Busoga Diocese, made a pastoral visit to Lukolo Parish, Wakitaka Archdeaconry. During the service, the Bishop officiated the Holy Confirmation of the confirmands and laid the foundation stone for the new church building. This marks a major step in the growth of St. Mark COU Lukolo.

The service was celebrated together with Rev. Bernard Michael Kyakulaga, Vicar of Lukolo Parish, several clergy from Busoga Diocese, and Ven. Rev. Canon Capt. Alfred Hasahya, Archdeacon of Wakitaka Archdeaconry.
