Isaiah 25:7 — “And he will swallow up on this mountain the covering that is cast over all peoples, the veil that is spread over all nations.”
Lesson
This verse is a bold promise from God. The “covering” and “veil” speak of grief, shame, confusion, and death — everything that weighs down people and nations. But God declares He will swallow it up completely on His holy mountain. This is His power, not ours. The lesson is faith: God sees what burdens us and moves to destroy it. When we believe His word, our hearts shift from heaviness to worship. A God who ends what breaks us is worthy of all glory. We don’t stay covered. We trust Him and let His light shine through.
Prayer
Father, I believe Your word today. You promised to swallow up every covering that weighs on me and on this world. I choose faith over fear and lift my eyes to You. You are greater than every veil of sorrow, shame, and darkness. Remove what hides Your goodness from my life and let Your glory be seen in me. I glorify You because You are the God who makes an end of what breaks us. In Jesus’ name, Amen. Peter M Minister
