Hon Acire Christopher Obema invites all the people contesting under any opposition political parties in Acholi Sub REGION at all levels to come for a meeting scheduled to take place on Sunday the 14th December 2025 at LAYIBI GO DOWN ORUBU Cell, Gulu City at Obema's Home at midday. Whoever gets this information should pass it to an other Opposition contestants and some Independent leaning Oppositions contestants . Please keep time to allow the time for your campaign schedule on that . The matter for discussion will not be limited to, "fighting injustices during this period of this elections, signing petitions condemning what happened on 6th December 2025 in Gulu during ( Presidential Candidate For NUP ) Robert Sentamu Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine constitutional Right campaign rally and Opposition unity in Acholi and among others".

What happened today in Gulu city on people who I believe some of them don't support Bobi wine who i hated before made me decide my one vote will be for Bobi wine on the 15th/January/2026. I will also at my own cost and with my level best going to make at least more than 10 voters to vote for Bobi wine. I can't afford seeing human rights violations in the broad day light by the people who must be protecting humans right.

Labour Day, May Day, or Worker's Day is celebrated annually on 1 May. This day is observed to educate people about the hard work of labourers and create awareness about their rights.

The commemoration of Labour Day dates back to the 19th century in the United States of America. To honour the 1886 countrywide strike for an eight-hour working day, which started on 1 May and culminated in the Haymarket affair in Chicago, the United States, 1 May has been designated as Labour Day.

The main significance of observing Labour Day is to honor and encourage the achievements of workers.
