And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.
MAKE OTHERS SEE GOD
Make others see God. What I'm saying is not that you should try to draw what God looks like. And many of us have seen God without realizing it, and many of us, not all, have made people see God without knowing it. Well, Jesus says he who has seen him has seen God but also, God can also clearly be seen in every act of love since God is not just loving but also love itself. Quite different from the romantic kind, when you clothe the naked, spend quality time with the lonely, feed the hungry, mourn with the mourning, rejoice with the rejoicing, you are showing people God and what God is like. The question as I close is, when was the last time people saw God through you? Let's go out there and do it now. Hallelujah.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
THE WORK INSIDE US
Let's for a moment consider a functioning wrist watch. It's battery is new and all its internal motar system is intact. What happens when you pick a black paint and smear it all over it's face? Ofcourse the watch remains working but it's display is no longer available and so you aren't able to tell the time. Now let's relate it to our verse of today. God's power, in other words, the God's precious Holy Spirit is at work inside of us. And that's the very power that created all that we see and do not see, and the very power that raised dead people including Jesus Himself back to life. Our problem is that some didn't know this while others just block His work and the manifestation of the great things that he works inside us. May I and may you not hinder the work of the Holy Spirit that he means to do on the inside of us. Hallelujah.

Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails.
FAILING BUT WINNING
Most times we are quick to judge people when they fail to do what they set out to do, or when they change their mission along the way. All people begin to say is, 'oh he said he would become an engineer but now he's just preaching the gospel in a remote village.' That's what this verse is opening our eyes to; that not all such cases mean a man failed. Actually, he found something better to do. Do not let the salary that comes with a job make you think that's the best option to go with. The man had his own plans, but God had a better plan for him. Just like when you were a child, all you wanted to do was play but your mother, your father made you go to school because they knew better what was good for you and now you are appreciating their effort, the same applies in this case. When God prompts you to do something else that aligns better with his will and purpose, count it all joy. Hallelujah.

ARE YOU MAD?
There are people who are mentally deranged and need medical care and our prayer as well. Meanwhile there are also people who others wrongly label as mad when they are actually the ones who do not understand what nature of peace these people have. An example is when the prophet Agabus warned Paul that he would go and meet his death. Even after pleading with him severally, he still chose to go there. I believe some neighbours wrongly called him mad. How about Daniel who defied a decree and ended up thrown into the lion's den when everyone feared how sharp a lion's teeth are? When God gives you his peace, like he already did, people can fail to explain how you do your things. Yes, they'll end up calling you mad when actually it's them who need the same medicine God gave you, all to the glory of His marvellous name. Hallelujah.
