GRACE IS A TEACHER

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus:2:11-12.

There are some people who still think that Grace is a new doctrine which has come around, and yet that is not true. Grace didn't start yesterday; grace has always been in existence from generations past.

It is good to know that Grace is not just a doctrine but Grace is a person.

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. John:1:17.

He said GRACE CAME.
The word "came" as used here, signifies a change of condition, state or place.

It further explains that Grace didn't just erupt from nowhere, grace has always been and now it changed location by fully appearing to us.

When you look at verse 11 in our opening text, he says that "...grace appeared..."
Appeared means to become literally visible or clearly known.

So, grace has always been available but it was literally made visible by the coming of Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the embodiment of grace. He is the person of God's grace.

It will be safe for us to say that grace is a person.
Now let's look at our opening text once again,

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, [12]Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Titus 2:11-12

It is evident that the grace of God was made visible in order to bring salvation unto all men but not just that, in v 12 he goes ahead to say TEACHING US.

Meaning that grace is also a teacher.
The word teaching as used here means wholesome training. Which implies that the grace of God is capacitated to give us wholesome training.

This makes it clear that grace is a person and being a person then he is a teacher.

Sometimes I meet folks who say that grace gives people a license to sin, I just figured out that such kind of folks have never paid attention to their bibles, because if they did, they would have realized that there is no remedy to sin than God's Grace.

He has told you the work that grace does. He didn't say GRACE TEACHES US HOW TO BE SINNERS rather HE TEACHES US HOW TO DENY UNGODLINESS.

Of course, I am aware that there are people who don’t understand what the grace of God entails and so they end up living lawless lives.

But that isn’t Gods will and doing, Grace empowers men to live above sin and not in sin.

With that in mind, a preacher of the gospel must be bold to minister grace. Our work is to give people GRACE then GRACE TEACHES them.

This is how Paul communicated it.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:14

The only reason sin cannot lord it over a person is because that person has subjected him/her self under God's grace.

LEARN TO GUARD YOUR MIND.

The mind is important when it comes to decision making and therefore as a believer it is important that you guard your mind.

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. 2 Corinthians 4:4

Meaning that, what the god of this world has blinded in the none-believers is their minds that they believe not.
And a believer is admonished this way.

This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, Ephesians 4:17

When we talk of the mind we are talking of your reasoning faculty, your mental perception, or intellect.
That is the way you think. Sometimes many believers are exposed to false information from TV, social media platforms, human philosophies, backslidden Christians, and things of the like.

This is why the spirit through Apostle Paul spoke of the need to renew our minds, because to renew your mind is following God's plan for your life.

It means I must always examine my thought pattern with the word of God. I have to do that again and again on a daily basis.

Even in ministry I must apply the same principle, and keep asking myself why am I doing what I am doing.
Because some start well but end up being drawn away from the original purpose because of external influence or personal wrong thought patterns.

I must therefore learn to check my motives, maybe you are serving in a ministry under some leaders, God will always remind you that you are a servant. And how does that happen? Through your heart.

There is no day you will not need to be humble or temperate. You must always learn to remain who you have been. Don't change overnight.

Also note that you cannot outgrow temptation, and so you must always keep living in the word of God.
When you wake up in the morning and you are studying and praying, that shows that you are following God's plan for your life.

Your mind is a powerful place; it is where you walk in the spirit and love. Thus, you consistently need to feed yourself with the word.

If you are in ministry, then you need to consistently feed yourself with the word of God in that area. This will also mean you be careful keeping friends who are not involved in what God called you to do.

You must be in the right place, right company where the right language is spoken in order to carry out the will of God.

Our minds therefore need to regularly be brought to a place of acknowledging what Christ has done.
Paul prayed for the church that their minds receive understanding. Which is insight or illumination from the spirit. And that is what the mind needs.

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; Colossians 1:9

CONFESSION:
I am not careless with my mind; I guard my heart with all diligence. I don't struggle with the will of God in my mind. Am alive unto God by the constant renewing of my mind by the word.

I BELIEVE IN MIRACLES.

God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? Hebrews 2:4.

In this age where people trust more in their own wisdom other than the word of God, many dispute the existence of miracles.

But all over the new testament we see numerous accounts of the miracles that Jesus did and then after the apostles did the same.

In John 2:23 the bible says that many folks believed in Jesus after they saw the miracles that he did.

Acts 8 shows us that the multitudes listened to Philip seeing the miracles.

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. Acts 8:6

But still there are many in the days of Jesus and the days of the apostles who never believed in the miraculous.

It is the same today, some say that miracles don't exist but you don't blame them, their minds are just twisted.
Some of us have lived in and experienced the miraculous. The very idea of God's existence is enough to make one believe in the supernatural. If you don't believe in miracles, then you don't believe in God.

A miracle is God's supernatural intervention in the affairs of men. It is the supernatural defying the natural order.

Most times there are things that men fail to do and they have to pray to a God they don't see and believe him to help them out, when he answers your prayers, then that is a miracle.

If it is something you can do by yourself then you don't need God's help.

Like you don't need a miracle to put on your own clothes, but if you don't have any clothes at all, then you can believe God for clothes.

When you need a miracle, it means you need something that only God can do. Because the moment you act on the word, he responds. He never fails to show up as he responds to faith.

You can trust God for a miracle for your finances, health, academics, job or business and for your family.
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8). If you act on his word, you will get results.

LIVING THROUGH CHRIST.

In this the love of God was made manifest (displayed) where we are concerned: in that God sent His Son, the only begotten or unique [Son], into the world so that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9.

The Christian life is not hard as some say and think. It is only a lack of a proper understanding that can make one to have such a mindset.

Christianity is not hard! You can easily understand this when you get acquainted with the truth.
Christianity is not based on how much one tries to please God, rather it is based on what Christ has done on our behalf to make us accepted by God.

We were called to live the Christ-life; and not our lives. Christianity is not " I am trying my best to follow Christ" it is not trying to follow him; neither is it " I am trying my best to be like him" nope.

It means Christ living through us (men).

Paul put it this way.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Do you see it?

He said it is no longer I who lives but Christ. That is Christianity, Christ alive in us.

He now walks in us, he works through us, he heals through us he continues his work today on earth through us.

We are his eyes today, we are his hands now, we are his voice everywhere.

We give expression to the person of Christ every day and moment of our lives.

We are the extension of his ministry.

We prolong his days on earth.

Hallelujah!!

That is Christianity.
It is Christ alive and at work in and through men.

You should therefore live and be conscious of the fact that, when men want to see Christ, let them have a good look at you. Come out of the fear and the inferiority of thinking that you can't do anything.

Fill yourself with the consciousness that it is Christ that lives in me, so I can do all things through him.

It is clear from our opening text that God sent Jesus not only to die for our sins, but also so that we live through him.

This is a call into a life of no worries and struggles. We are just costing on Christ's finished works. Because the calling into Christ is a calling into an inheritance.

So, live daily through Christ and not from your efforts.

CONFESSION: My heart is gladdened by this truth, I believe that today, Christ lives in me and through me, I give expression to his person every day of my life. And by so I live a life full of joy.

🔥🔥 ADVANCED WORD CONFERENCE SEASON 3 – DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS 🔥🔥

Day Two was even more powerful!

We witnessed God’s presence in a deeper dimension as truth was established and light shone strongly against myths and lies surrounding Christianity.

📌 Apostle Maxwel Ojay ministered powerfully on the topic:
“Partakers of the Divine Nature”
A timely word that awakened hunger and strengthened believers to walk in the realities of Christ.

📌 Pr. Emmanuel Vudi continued with:
“Indwelling of the Spirit”
Bringing deeper clarity on the work of the Holy Spirit in the believer and strengthening our understanding of true Christianity.

Then came an intense moment of prayer led by Pr. Emma Opio. Men gathered in groups, praying earnestly for one another, and the Lord confirmed His Word through words of knowledge and prophecy.

The tangible presence of God was undeniable. Joy overflowed, burdens were lifted, and many were refreshed and edified.

We are excited and expectant for even greater dimensions of the Word, the Spirit, and transformation.

🔥 DAY ONE OF ADVANCED WORD CONFERENCE SEASON 3 🔥

What a powerful and unforgettable start we had yesterday!
The atmosphere was charged with hunger, truth, prayer, and the tangible presence of God.

In the first session, Pr. Emma Opio laid a strong foundation by teaching and introducing profound truths about what Christianity is truly all about. Hearts were stirred and perspectives aligned again to the essence of the faith.

Then Pr. Emmanuel Vudi ministered deeply on the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and walked us through church history, bringing clarity on how different denominations came about. It was enlightening, convicting, and deeply edifying.

The Spirit of God moved mightily among us. Men prayed earnestly for one another, burdens were lifted, understanding increased, and joy overflowed in the room. There was such a beautiful expression of unity, hunger, and fellowship in the Spirit.

Indeed, men went back strengthened, refreshed, and edified.

This is only the beginning.
ADVANCED WORD CONFERENCE SEASON 3 is already proving to be a life-transforming gathering.
