Stretch your faith

A widow living in Zarephath was shocked to discover her recently deceased husband was deeply in debt. She cried out, “They are going to take my two sons to be slaves! Help me!” A prophet named Elijah who was visiting the area asked the woman, “What do you have?” She answered, “Nothing. Only a few drops of oil in this one jug.” But she was wrong. She had more than a drop or two of oil. She also had FAITH.

That widow had all the faith she needed to turn a drop of oil into gallons that she could sell and use to pay her creditors. And that’s not all. She and her sons were able to live off the rest. She had plenty to spare!

You have something too. You may not even know what it is yet, but you do! Take all that you have and lay it before God today as you pray. Stretch your faith and He will give you the increase. You can take Him at His word!
